My answer for that is check the catheter it's bec. In autonomic dysreflexia the signs and symptoms are high bp,confusion, lethargy and diaporesis. You must first address the cause of the autonomic dysreflexia which is bladder distention. Which is checking catheter is part of assessment which leads you to bladder distention. While HOB is nothing to do with the cause of the AD because it is not an airway probs... Hope it helps... This is in my opinion lets wait for others to comment. Thnks

thanks for the reply.. it maybe maintain the k level right? but im sure in lasix it needs to increase k foods because it is loop diuretics w/c means losing k...

If the Aldactone makes retain Potassium because it is potassium sparing diuretics this means it's not losing potassium right? So why do we need to increase the potassium intake? As I believe we need to watch out for HYPERkalemia... and so my QUESTION is do we really need to increase or decrease Potassium intake in ALDACTONE? Thanks

God moves mountain indeed. I believe in God and his powers. He said: Move people and I will help you all the way... So in my opinion don't just pray and pray without any effort on doing something to pass. We as a children of God must do our part too- by thoroughly/deeply and religiously studying and put God in the center of our study period. We must remember that God is just in our side in every little thing we do. Therefore, Study, prayer,study prayer is always the recipe on passing this exam.. I'm also using this book Mary Ann Hogan, And i so love it, before I was so stuck between saunders and this but i end up saving this book and use this alone for my content. Thanks for sharing. very inspirational indeed. CONGRATULATIONS.....

Hi everyone. Im a Philippine RN, I applied in Vermont BON but they denied my preliminary application due to lack of number of hours CES report issues- my school had sent another documents to support they're needs but it take so long because of the shipment/mailings. But today I got an email notice from vermont stating that I am preliminary denied and needs to sent them a letter requesting an review and set for hearing. Done that already! What I am worried is what's gonna happen during the hearing they say it's only in a phone conference and ask some questions to me, in regards with what topic of question they will ask is I don't know (that's why im worried) If they're gonna ask me questions like why it happens that it lack 1 hour in that certain area of my education, well i guess only my school registrar could answer that because in regards with that matter we're not allowed to see/check the documents sent to CGFNS right? Anyone here have some issues with this or undergo hearing??? what type of questions they're usually asking??? Thank you so much.

Im praying for it! If the result will be the same or when they deny me totally because as of the moment I got preliminary denial.. I think I should apply to other state and may consider illinois.. i will look into it about the requirements.. are they still requiring CES report?
