1. 42+ years is enough....
2. Wow...didn't know that would happen.
3. The electronic ones were not successful either. That is my point, had them done manually and then electronically. Not good...
4. I've had that happen in the OR...
5. I didn't think you could fail "fingerprints", but I did. This was for the State of NC and even though I've had a NC license for years, to work for the state you need to repeat these. Well, I had the manual ones done and sent them in and the FBI rejected them. Next had the "live" scan at the local Sheriffs and failed those twice.. this is getting rediculous. I've been an RN for 42+ yrs, worked many of those in the OR but I didn't think we lose our prints ... have any of you experienced this and was it resolved in some way? Thanks
6. I felt like that 42 yrs ago and should have changed way back then. Being honest with yourself and make the move to something you would prefer doing, Be true to yourself and feel passionate about what you want to do and head that direction.
7. Good luck with the job but one thought. I've been there and can only suggest that you keep your foot into the door or "into" bedside...On down the road when this gets very old and you want to go back to patient care you will be asked how long has it been since you had hands on....
8. I want to know what these people think "real nursing" is... this is crazy. Nursing encompases many different arenas.... just because you're not in an ER or ICU does not mean you're not a nurse. They are showing their ignorance.
9. Sure would, if possible tomorrow? Thanks!
10. Carol, I wanted to touch base with you and see how you're doing in your business. Successful, enjoy it? Would appreciate a reply. Thanks!
11. This is nursing. To make more money leave the nursing field. I wished I had years ago. Poor pay, treatment and the public is miserable to work with.
12. I wonder how you have done with the coding. Did they give you the chance to get a job as a coder?
13. Cockadoodie, I am sorry CB didn't work out.. I've found it hard to get a position outside of nursing. It's almost like they don't believe you want a non nursing position and/or that you will leave it...frustrating.
14. "Coder" ... maybe licensed and professional?
15. Well, I wish you luck... have you checked with any of the hospitals regarding starting with them? With your medical background you shouldn't have any problem..

Yep I've had that account for years. When I sign on the page takes about a minute and then I get the page to link my FB account to it... way down below on this same page is the option to "never" link or not at this time. When I attempt to click on the "never" link the pages, nothing happens.. frustrating. Why would someone want to let them link your FB account. Seems to be that it would be very easy for anyone to get into all your life...

Tried to log in to my account and repeatedly get the "link your account" notice. It's like they are forcing you to link Facebook and Nurse.com which I will not do. Has anyone else managed to bypass this? Thanks
18. Smart... I did a coding/billing class and couldn't find a job. I do understand..
19. Sounds like you might be in Vero Beach? I interviewed once there and decided Ididn't want that job bad enough...
20. Are you being a little testy today. Yes, we all know why they are called "jobs", get real.
21. What is the status of this program. Thanks
22. I think we worked for the same company... home based in KY but mainly in St.Petesburg. Never learned how much I could hate a job and company. Co-workers were nasty and if you think working from home you miss out of the BS from being in an office...well you are very wrong..
23. I would love to have the information you are studying. Thanks!
24. Well, neither of the cases (examples) they mentioned were not a Workman's Comp at all but employees that had a problem with very large claims, that didn't occur at work. I thought it sounded like they needed a Complex Case Manager...they were looking for a "Disease Manager" and I just don't think this is what they need...thanks for the reply
25. Are there any resources for "Disease Management" or help with Complex Case Management? Where and how to get started? I've recently talked with a company that wants someone to help with their employees with major health issues, not comp cases. They do not have a Case Manager to work with this. Thanks
