  1. Thanks.... Chem is not my thing either, but I was wondering if there was a particular study guide that you had used...and also, I registered for the aging and society for the 2nd half of the semester... I'll probably drop it if the chemistry kicks my hindparts :) Like you I will definitely have to put alot of time into it... God's willing I'll aim for the C and with luck I'll do better. Thanks again
  2. Taking Chemistry this fall online... any advice for passing the class? should I get a study guide or will the book and online modules surfice? Thank you
  3. It seems as if you have already assessed your situation. I believe you can accomplish anything you put your mind and heart to. My suggestion is this...find a transition program that will fit best with your work schedule, some programs are offered on the weekends. It might take you a little longer than you would like but it will probably be a little less stressful financially. The end results is the same :). Try not to stress over it... YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! Alot of nurses have been in your shoes, myself included and suceeded, so can you. God Bless.
  4. I would have to agree with all the above postings. If the behavior is not addressed in the form of a written reprimand, then she will continue to display these unprofessional behaviors, hopefully it will not be to the detriment of a patient. The primary reason why we are all there.
  5. Great read!!! :bowingpur My hat is off to you!!!! reading this reminds me of the time I use to work in the SNF. There never seem to be enough hours in the day to accomplish all that was needed to be done.
  6. cytyler98... thanks for responding so quickly... I do have a question. Have you taken the stats class as yet? I have to take 2 classes prior to taking the core classes. The intro to micro computers and chemistry. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
  7. cytyler98, I am SOOO glad to hear some positive opinions about this school. I will be starting their rn-bsn completion program this summer. The reviews that I have read so far online were not very favorable..... it seems however that the online distance nursing program (according to the reviews I have read here) appears to be rated very well.
  8. Wishing you all the best, but remember you can't turn back the hands of time, so you'll just have to think positive and remember the hardest part is already behind you.... you graduated. But I think you did fine. Good luck to you.
  9. i know how ya feel, it's phenominal !!!! enjoy!!!:balloons: :balloons:
  10. I took the review class the monday following graduation... I felt it was very helpful. It reinforced what I already knew and boost my confidence going into the boards. I thought it was worth it. (my two cents ) Good luck to you.
  11. Look whatever you do........please just don't give up.... This is just a temporary delay for you, You WILL reach your goal. Keep stead fast. God Bless.
