  2. Hope everything worked out 😘👍🏽
  3. You can cheat school but you can't cheat NCLEX so who cares
  4. It's not my favorite....I go to school in the evening so not much action besides the babies. Moms are tired and taking visitors by the time I get there...hopefully you go to school in the day time so you can see all the good stuff!
  5. I'm not a fan of my maternity clinical. The babies don't make me all warm and fuzzy and if I have to assess one more pad for lochia......I have enjoyed all my clinical up until now...one more month! Sorry for the rant
  6. To my clinial instructor, Thank you for threating to cut off my hair when i gave you a silly answer. Your are the best!! You really drove home what my lecture professor spoke about! :bowingpur
  7. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! YOU, ALONG WITH THE PROF ARE MY ROCK!! BEST OF LUCK TO ALL OF US!!
  8. Because im so sure you are the only one in that boat once you reach that level.... Hang in there....
  9. I took the NLN Pax in spring 11 and got in for spring 12. Just about to finish my 1st semester. It's a very good program and the professors are awesome and very helpful.
  10. Hi Ally! I am currently taking nur 111 and plan on taking nur 113 in the fall, then I plan to double up in the spring....although, given how I'm balancing everything this semester I'm not sure how that will work! I work FT and have a family to take care of and it's not easy, but I'm doing it! Good luck!
  11. I overheard some nursing students raving over this one last semester.... http://www.amazon.com/Dosage-Calculations-Made-Incredibly-Easy/dp/1605471976 I got one for myself! Good Luck!
  12. I currently work for a bank on wall street. Im starting Nursing school in the spring...I cant tell you how excited I am. I love my boss and my co-workers but its just to unstable. Just yesterday there was an announcement about downsizing by letting go of 1,500 employees. I cant wait to finish my degree! Good luck to all as you start your new careers!
  13. See you there!! I will be looking for you!!
  14. I just got my acceptance letter at the end of June...Stay tuned! :w00t:
  15. Im missing A&P II and Micro. I plan on cleping out of eng comp II and than im done with my pre reqs
  16. They said it would be like 4-6 weeks for us to get out letters. As soon as I recieved my scores from the NLN I called the school to find out where I stood and she suggested I make an appointment with a chair from the nursing department that set a date to sit one on one with all those who took the test. If I hadnt called I would have never known. They should have advertised that for all potential candidates. That was this past monday. They are looking at scored percentile scores above 55 in the AD column. She said she couldnt confirm if I got in but she did say my name was highlighted which is a good sign.....I wont start celebrating until I get my letter. Good Luck!
  17. How did u do? I think I did ok....That test was HARD!
  18. According to the head of the Nursing Department, ****** (who I met with for a Q & A) They expect 120-150 to be accepted into the 2012 program. That includes re entry students that get a second chance. She said the test isnt as drastic as it sounds and that we need to be in the 60th percentile. Hope this helped. Good luck!
  19. I did. The NLN-PAX is on 4/10. I am currently taking the core req. for the program. Good Luck!
