Anyone get 75 q's and not pass?
Sorry to say, but I do think it takes longer for international nurses to get their results...something about social security numbers and such...I'll have to look to find exactly. But, on a much brighter note, I really feel you passed. If you have experience and shut off at 75....excellent chance you passed. Look through the various 75 question threads on this board...you will likely see person after person who took a test that sounds very like the one you took, questions wise, and see how many of them passed....about 99.9% Though that won't keep you from fretting...I know I still did, it may ease your nerves a bit and allow you to think optimistically, at points at least. You passed...I just know it....

NCLEX-RN results in California....
Hmmm...I never had to call the BRN for the test results. I did have to call to find my misdirected IP and Candidate to test packet several times back at the beginning of the year...so I could work and make my appointment to sit the NCLEX. That was an adventure in and of itself... No, I just went to the BRN site...got my pass/fail status there. As for the results not being to them yet...maybe the test site hasn't transmitted them or maybe your school hasn't sent in all the required info...like transcripts. Or maybe my late response had invalidated all of the above and you do now have your results.

How many got only 75 questions?
Cress101...just hang in there and don't forget to breath...I was anxiety ridden and planning for the next test too until 4 o'clock this morning. I don't think there are many people who come out of that test with anything but doubt and anxiety. Three days seems to be the magic number for results right now...When did you take your test? I went on http://www.rn.ca.gov/online/online.htm and on verify professional license...put in your last name, full name...whatever...my name starts with ab so i was right at the top. Relief is an understatement...good luck!

Delta College, Stockton, CA
I don't know about any with particularly good online programs...I took a few courses through Las Positas and Chabot. I know American River in sac has a good selection, Modesto Jr. College...lots...really, you just have to check out all the schools until you find the course you need. To find out if credits are transferable go to assist.org. There you can put in the school you are taking a course in and the school you want to transfer it to and it will let you know if it is transferable.

Took NCLEX on 06/18
They won't finalize your results until they have your complete application packet. Livescan, transcripts, photo...background check...all of it. Until that happens you wait, I'm sorry to say. In California they let us sit for the exam before they really know we are eligible and then wait after the test until they determine if we are. I really think this is a bit backwards. I know if most students realized this they would much rather wait a few extra weeks to take the test than have to wait a few extra weeks after they have tested to get the results. I'm not sure why they do it this way in California, other than the sheer volume of applications they must have to process. From what I have been able to ascertain the BRN is not a very well staffed dept. Not that their staff isn't good, just that there aren't enough of them. Try getting through on their phone system sometime. I have spent many, many hours trying to speak to a human in the past when it became apparent that my IP and my Candidate bulletin had been lost somewhere between them and me. They work very hard but really need more support staff. The best you can do is get your school to get the transcripts and all other info needed sent in. Call the BRN and find out what is missing from your packet and make sure yourself it gets there. Then they can start verifying the app and you will be closer to a resolution. Best of luck to you!!! I feel for you!

still no results in Calif BRN....took my exam 5-30-07 in CA at 140 questions
Yeah..you can verify your license at the BRN website... http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/wllqryna$lcev2.startup?p_qte_code=RN&p_qte_pgm_code=7800 They update it every night at like 4AM I believe...sometimes it takes a longggggg time though. I know some who have been up on the site within 48 hours and some who didn't go up for five weeks....luck of the draw and such. I am a bit less freaked, at least I am trying to convince myself I am ...and preparing for the worst. The wait period is 45 days now...better than the 90 it could be. Here's to neither of us having to deal with that wait period though  best of luck to you!

Took NCLEX-RN on Friday in CA
The BRN website has all the info you need... here is the FAQ for first time licensees... http://www.rn.ca.gov/lic/lic-faqs.htm#faqs and the Application packet...you'll need Adobe Acrobat to open it... http://www.rn.ca.gov/lic/lic-exam.htm click on Application for Licensure by Examination and just below it is the Livescan fingerprint info... I would wait until the beginning of the last semester to send stuff in though. The BRN is a bit overwhelmed and sometimes things get lost, especially if they are hanging around for a long time waiting on transcripts etc to complete the packet... Good luck and enjoy your last semester!!!

- How many got only 75 questions?
Wow...congrats to all who passed..and were lucky enough to get such FAST results. I raise my glass to you all!!!- Took the NCLEX today
Of all the review materials I have encountered and used I felt the questions on learningext.com were the most similar and helped me best prepare for the test. I recommend that course to everyone studying for the NCLEX. Good luck to you!!!- Took NCLEX-RN on Friday in CA
Congrats to all who passed and best of luck to those waitin to take it or get their results. Im one of the waiters...took it yesterday. Im glad to hear that so many are getting their results rather quickly. I see the horror stories of those who are waiting after weeks...I don't think I could deal with that long of a wait. Only 30 hours later and I feel like I'm going to lose it if I don't know soon...:lol_hitti- RN nclex review????
I highly suggest the NCSBN sites review. Learningext.com. It was great if you are self motivated. Lots of info, broken down well and, more importantly, lots of practice questions that are very reflective of the NCLEX and written by the folks who write the NCLEX. And, as an added bonus...it is very affordable. You can choose how long you want access, 3, 5, 8, or 15 weeks and it runs from $49-$150. If you can get a group of 10 or more to sign up at the same time you get a 10% discount. I highly recommend this review...and best of luck to you!!!- How many got only 75 questions?
Oooph...took my test yesterday. 99% of the posts in this thread could be written by me. Lots of Pharm I had NEVER heard of, delegation, prioritization...etc. Was so shocked when it shut off at 75 I jumped in my seat. I so feel like there is no way I passed. I am often the exception to the rule. Now the ever so unpredictable and often very looooong wait in California. Best of luck to all!!!!- Nclex-rn- 6/18/07
Im with you all. Took mine yesterday at 9am...blahhhh. Soooo many meds. Most of which I had/have never heard of and the generic names didn't give any clues into their classes. Shut off at 75 but Im not feeling it. Im in California so I could be waiting weeks...I sure hope Im one of the lucky ones who gets results in 3 days...Good luck to all!!!- ? about the review by State board of nursing
Learningext.com is worth every penny.- Took the NCLEX today
Good luck today!!! :smiley_abYou'll kick it's butt!! All of the studying will have you well prepared. I did the learningext and felt it was well worth the $.- John Muir Hospital
I live in the Stockton area, currently working at a local hospital w/out a new grad program. I am actually considering applying at John Muir . I have heard great things and would love to have a new grad program. Where I am at, in the float pool, orientation to a unit is basically throwing you in there w/ a full pt. load and answering any questions you may have. Talk about feeling like Im being fed to the sharks...I manage but don't think I'll be staying here much longer.- Delta College, Stockton, CA
And also remember you can take online courses at any community college in California. That's how I got a few prereqs done. Graduated the program in December and just took my NCLEX today....feeling rather ill at the moment. Need the results, one way or the other, now!!!!!!!!- Things to do while awaiting NCLEX results
I'm in California...just took the test. I can't imagine the wait ahead of me. I'm already a nervous wreak...let alone if I have to wait a few weeks... So it only took three days!!! I spent those three days doing the slug thing...I watched the new Doctor Who....first two seasons... - How many got only 75 questions?
