  1. Hi, I am also using the same study materials. I have not signed up for ncsbn yet because I need to make sure I will be ready to focus on them only - 3 or 5 wks goes by very quickly. Currently doing LaCharity. i am also doing sme NCLEX questions from a NSNA (national student nurses assoc) book. I also have a couple other strategy books and access to Hurst Review online. sometimes this all seems a bit overwhelming. i wonder if i'm trying to use too many sources??? ahhh!!! what to do!We came this far, we will pass!good Luck to you and all testtakers as we rise to our final challenge to be RNs. We can do it!
  2. Try SPAC! Stephanie @ SPAC is very helpful, she will try to get you a date as close as your requested date. When I applied, once my file was complete, I called to make sure everything was recieved and in good order. I then call every few days and got a date for my preferred site in less than 2 weeks and a CPNE date that was within 2 months of my application date. She's fantastic! Give it a try and good luck....it can be done!
  3. Jan, stay strong and get back in the game. You will be successful next time! As for switching test sites, I have always heard good things about the other test sites in the NPAC - but you could always go to SPAC too! Take some time to reflect on your experience and then put a game plan together. Determine what your weakness and strong areas are.....then formulate your plan of attack...you definitely can do this and no matter what happens next week I'll be there for you!
  4. Thanks guys! Yeah, it's so much more real now that I have a target date. All the anxiety is taking over! I still need to get any amount of study buddies to compare notes and bounce ideas, techniques and what not! Anyone in CT want to buddy up? Oh, and I need a dbl teaching stethoscope.....got lab setup - the whole nine yards!!!
  5. So excited to have received my exam date. It will be at Southern Regional in Atlanta. It finally feel so real!!! Is there anyone here schedule to go to SRMC with me on that date? Good luck to all currently preparing for CPNE and all other exam takers! Lets do this!
  6. Don't know what area you are in but send me a PM or your email address if u can't pm yet.
  7. The only thing I can say is that it means you will definitely get a peds pt. I also heard that it's not the best site in the SPAC but doable of course! Good Luck and know your stuff!!!
  8. Ok got it, but since it's already October I guess that probably was her 2nd free webinar for the year. Did you get my message? Hope ur seriously considering a workshop....it does help a lot! How is the lab setup coming along?
  9. Hey! wish I knew about this careplan webinar.....definitelywould have signed in! Please let me know if she runs another or if anyone has a transcript. Thanks.
  10. Have you considered a workshop? Also to the (OP)......you may want to consider doing a workshop too. A lot of the study guide info was not clear to me until after I took a workshop. It then became very clear and gave me some direction as to how to plan my studies and how to setup my PCS and labs. I also was given great Mneumonics from the workshop ---for every area of care (AOC). And some can be used for both labs and PCS!!! just my:twocents:!
  11. Congrats Beachnurse! Another success story for the Allnurses crew!:yeah:
  12. I am schedule to go to Atlanta in 10 days. Send me an email [email protected] and I will pass you the Tutor info. I have heard great things about her and she is very thorough plus one on one skills teaching and documentation!
  13. You do not need Info Lit in order to be FCCA/CPNE eligible. You do need to have taken 21 of the 31cr of the General Ed stuff and all the Nursing Exams, then you are ready to do FCCA and SCHEDULE your CPNE once you have met those requirements. That's what I did! I will do the INFO LIT some time this month (Maybe). Hope that helps.
  14. Good Luck Beachnurse!!! I will be praying for your success! Boy, did that time went by fast! You will do great! Stay calm and be positive! You will be successful. Can't wait for your goodnews. Go get that GN!!!!
  15. You can do a pmt plan for the exams however I personally don't see any benefits to doing so as you will not be allowed to sit the exam until the exam fee is paid in full. On the other hand, the plan works for the enrollment fee because you get to take your remaining exams while chipping away at the enrollment balance. Good luck with wathever works for you!
  16. Got my FCCA Friday but will actually start working on it tomorrow! Also starting tomorrow, working on careplan with my tutor. I do my workshop in 2 1/2 wks. Good luck to all...whatever you're working on!
  17. Hi Lynda , You're another inspiration from EC!!! Reading your last couple posts has renewed my excitement of being CPNE--eligible and motivating me to be successful on my weekend! Kudos!!! :yeah::yeah:I do believe we can all do this. Thanks for your testimony! Annette
  18. Congrats!!! It's so nice to see allnurses "crew" slaying the CPNE beast!
  19. Sorry you missed it. I am in that batch....signed up on the last day-8/24. Did you see my post asking if you wanted to meet up for CPNE studies?
  20. Congratulations! Excellent job! I tried RNBridgeprogram, thought it was good but too expensive (IMO)considering the mthly fee of $149; but each to his own...you do whatever it takes to make it through.
  21. Hi, I'm somewhat in the same position as you. Almost forgot that I have to do Info Lit. I will need to run it by my advisor to get approval for Penn Foster. I am also applying for FCCA in the next batch which cuts off - today 8/24. I am also doing my physical tomorrow inorder to complete my CPNE file. I see you live in NY, would you like to get together for CPNE studies? Im in CT.
  22. :yeah:Congratulations again, Christy! You must be soooo happy! Let me also thank you for very detailed journal. I hope I will follow in your footsteps in a few months. Good Luck as you continue on to the next step, NCLEX!!!!
  23. Good Luck! Believe in your abilities/skills!!!
  24. Hi, I can send you 100 things for LS2.....this one is hard too but if you prepare and know the content you will pass on 1st attempt. I remembered this one had a lot of regulatory mechanism questions. I studied for 2-3 wks. I will have to go back to my notes to see what tips I can give you. send me your email. Good luck!
