  2. I am a C.N.A and a nursing student here in NYC and making 20.91 and hour
  3. I am also working 45-50 hours on weekdays full time and 14hours part time on weekend.. I am doing 2 classes this semester ... Psychology and sociology.

  5. I have two jobs, my full time job from Tus - Fri currently 46 - 50 Hours and weekend part time is 14 hours .. I am starting with sociology and psychology this semester. I need to work hard because I am also supporting my wife who is graduation from her BSN next year. So from next year I am thinking to take more classes after she graduate. I believe everything is time management....

  10. I am also in Los Angeles and was thinking to start the LVN classes but due to the current unemployment situation out here and very expensive for the program. I will be moving to DC in August for the LPN/LVN. I hope its better out there in the east from what I heard and also not so expensive compare to LA private schools
  11. I'm also wondering if its easy to find a job out there in new york as a cna and how the payment is like. I am presently in los angeles - california and planning to relocate by Aug. Any advice out there from you guys.
  12. keep calling them. I passed the cna classes here in california in feb 2009 and got my license in Oct which took like 8months because the school did not send my finger print to the department of justice. I kept calling them every week and finally a lady did a follow up and told me the dept did not get any finger print from my school and I had to do a new finger print and it took me like 7-10 days later and I got my lincense

I am leaving here because things are very slow here. Jobs are not as plenty as before. Also trying to be near family members. Do you have idea also how much they pay for c.n.a out there?
  14. I am thinking of relocating from Los Angeles California to CT. I will like to know which area is good for me to work as a c.n.a and go to LPN school. I am already working here as a c.n.a I want to find out the salary for C.N.A out there for Nursing homes and private duty? I want to know if its also easy for me to get into LPN Program and what is the cost of the program in private school
