I did look at the accelerated BSN, but I have to work, so the ADN was the next best choice, and many students in the programs here that i've talked to, actually stepped down out of the 1 year b/c they didn't feel like they were getting what they need...

Yeah, I definitely agree, I have a bachelors as well, and i guess, school is school, and if you have good study skills, you can make it through anything!!
