Any Books Recommended for bio A & P for self study before I take the course?
No, I just used the book and the instructors notes. I did buy this coloring book I don't know if all colleges carries it but there is a coloring book and it's useful; we didn't use the coloring book but I bought it anyways because other students told me it was useful and it was because I was able to test myself (especially for the bone test). The answers are in the back of the book.

Help: Taking out stains on uniform?
Hair Spray and Oxy Clean (the spray) used together takes stains out of anything. Just spray hair spray and oxy clean on the stain before you put them in the washer.

Direct patient contact volunteer experiences
Volunteering can't hurt either "work experience" even though you don't have direct contact with the patients. Just being around in the healthcare setting and just being around it you learn a lot. I volunteered in the ER and the nurses taught me a lot and that's really how I knew that the corporate world isn't for me in which I have a degree in Information Technology so that's why I decided to change my major after I had already decided to be a teacher.

Just Got a Nurse Tech Job in the ICU
I've been trying to get on at the hospital for 4 months now so I can work 12hr shifts on weekends and study throughout the week while I'm going to school.
-
what are you doing over the break?
Work, try to rest before Spring Semester starts, and start studying for the TEAS test to get into Nursing Program at a certain school that I just got accepted to.

Anyone in NC, question, please help
You're supposed to call them if you don't have your test ticket within 10 days.

Is my inexperience going to make it hard to find a job?
I haven't worked since 2005 and I found a job within a week of taking my CNA exam. Try home health agencies or group homes. I work for a home health agency and I love it and I didn't have any experience. It's not back breaking like being in an assisted living or nursing home and I actually get paid more. I've been trying to get on at the hospital and I apply every week and they haven't called me. You'll find something; it can be frustrating but just keep applying or call and ask them about the status of your application.

Microbiology-Spring 2008
I'll be taking Micro this Spring too! There is only one instructor that teaches it where I go but he's great! I'm not too worried; I just know I have to study hard to get the grade!

how tough is it taking AP2 and micro bio in summer?
You got it no social life...all I do is work and study! It will pay off in the end...and I agree AP2 was easier; I think it all comes together and you're not lost like you were in AP1.

how tough is it taking AP2 and micro bio in summer?
I took AP2 in the summer and anything that you take that is hard it's always easier in the summer because they only make you learn what you need to know...at least that's how it where I go. I'm taking Micro, Developmental Psych, and Intro to New Testament for Spring Semester (have to have the last one because of where I got in at; now I'm applying to get into the nursing program there).
