I was thinking about taking pharmacology online over the summer to help ease my course load in the fall. Has anyone ever done this? I'm very apprehensive about taking an online class. Is it doable? \ Thanks!!

I have my BA incriminal justice already, I Have not worked in the field but wonder if I should just finish this semester and get a job in CJ. Im lost..

I'm 24 years old, started Nursing school 1 week ago and just found out I'm pregnant ( I have no children). It's a 2 year community college degree. I am devistated I can't even stand up. Has anyone else had a similar experience? My boyfried of 2 years works full time and is in grad school. This couldnt have come at a worse time. Any experience in this please advise! I just took 2 pregnancy tests, both positive and think I would probably be due in August/September. Just before second semester.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I am new to these boards. I am starting nursing school next month and see all sorts of info about needing a PDA. Can anyone reccomend a good one? Not really looking to spend $500 but something that gets the job done. Or what about a phone? I have a basic cell phone now but would it be wise to get one of the fancy ones? Do they have the ability to download the info like a PDA? I would rather go this route if possible. Sorry I am not very techno friendly, Weird seeing as I'm only 24! haha:bugeyes:

I was able to petition the dept so that I did not have to do the disection. 2/3 of medical schools dont use animal disections, why do nurses?? Those cats are soaked in formeldahyde which is a carcinogenic. Do a little research on where the cats actually come from. Its very disturbing.

Thanks for the reply. Actually I live in South Suburbans district and my parents live in Moraines so I applied as an in district resident for both schools using the respective addresses, so I'm not really worried about that.

I have applied for both the Moraine valley and South Suburban Community College nursing programs for the Spring of 09. Any other students/or graduates from those schools? When did you get yur admission letters? And what were your grades like for the required courses Ie A&p1 and 2, micro etc. Just trying to gage where I am at. THANKS!!
