hi, i am usa citizen i finished my pre courses and 2 years college in georgia had to live usa and come to university of ireland in bahrain to finish my bsn due to my husband job. i have one more year left in here. i am confused and scared, because after i finish i am coming back to us. my question is that, can i work with my degree in us? what i need to do to make sure i am in the right track? how can i get list of courses that they cover in us. bsn program and compare it with what i am taking? is taking nclex is enough for me to be able to work there? thank you very much, regards.

dear corinna,i experience that every time you stress about something and make a big deal out of it ,it is big. i think we are in the same level of nursing school i am also 2 year and 5th sem. i hear lot's of this story from my classmate but i never (thanks god) had a problem with my tutor. just try to make sure what are you doing, do not feel hesitate whenever you want to do any procedure and always remember we are there to learn. i remember i had a clinical instructor from other countries which i did not understand even a word that comes from her mouth because of her deep accent and every morning i had a pain in the neck to walk to that ward, so everyone have different problem we need to learn how to deal with it. take it easy and be positive with the head upppp.

dear all, i was wondering... when is the best time to focus on nclex study? and how we can find out about some generic drug names? some of the drugs cannot be found in my mosby's drug book. best regards, farzah:bow:

waking up early in the morning and giving case report without having even one drop coffee, medication care plan, knowing the different between different type of medicine, needle...but i love it is worth it when you help other people i called unconditional love to my future job. every job or degree has their owen up and down. good luck .

The test is easy ,math is so basic don't worry if you be fast and study little before test you'll do fine.I just had it last year.I felt like I waste too much time for studing?!! Good luck.:nuke:

Dear all Hi, I was wondaring when we are in nursing school what is a grade scale?! are we using A,B,C,D,F as we used in college?! The reson I am asking that is I am US citizen but I am attending IRLAND university .I just recived my grades and it just saying PASS and for some other student it says FAIL ?! I wonder is that going to effect me when I come back to USA and want to work there since since they don't report it in USA grade scale?! some pepole tell me as long as I pass NCLEX exam I should be fine .I want to make sure so I don't waste my time and my money before it gets late .(I am in my second sem. in seconde year).I transfer the first year from US here! Yes,I helped him in to the bed he is so tiny I did not give him any juice because I thought he might choke.I just ran to his nurse. I don't know why I was not thinking about the bell. Thank you for your advice.

hello friends, i am in my second year of my bsn program; i need your advice please?! today we had a diabetic patient that i was assigned to take only his vitals and sugar every 4 hrs because they amputate his toes that morning (sad).when i went to his room for the 2nd round to take his vital and his sugar i found him soaking wet on the floor with white mouth (he was almost in coma?!)i felt so bad i ran to his nurse and told her she was very come and told me to take his sugar i told her that i already did it was 37 ?! she told me to grab juice and let him drink it .i told her our university tutor told us in emergency situation we need to make sure we call the nurse and do not act by ourselves, we do not have permission because i am only a student, and in the other hand what if he was choking by drinking juice?? i went back to pt room helped him on the bed and buzz the bell for help .in few second the shift charge nurse came to the room and she was thanking me for everything and she asked me if i notify his nurse ??i told her yes but i didn't tell her the detail that his nurse was on the phone and she was ignoring me?? tomrrow they asked me to go to charge nurse head because she want to talke to me about this situation. what should i do ?? the dibatic pt nurse told me tell them "i was busy with my other patient ??" with bad attitude ,but i feel so bad what if she dose the samething to other pt.i don't know what to say and what to do?? thank you.
