Desired dose (6mg) divided by dose on hand (5mg)
  2. Definately doable, worked 30 hr/wk, A&P I and Micro and 4 kids - stay focused. Good Luck
  3. alexandersuniforms.com has a sale on the white professional clogs, $84; $5 shipping
  4. Congratulations to you both! I got mine today too! can't wait to get started
  5. siennagreen - I hope you don't mind I sent you a pm
  6. Great questions. I am anxiously awaiting the LETTER from aacc too.
  7. That looks like a great resource. I like that it has the lab models. Thanks! I bookmarked it, I may get it for AP2
  8. That is exactly how our community college does it. Once you declare a major, you are locked into those prereq's and only those even if they change. I hope this was just someone's mistake and they can fix it for you. I know the feeling of feeling like I've been at my pre-req's forever! Good Luck
  9. We just had our first exam of semester last night and it was on five chapters. I didn't feel like anything stuck either (4 kids, working 32 hrs wk and micro class too). But he gave us our grades last night and I got a 93, so it must have. Good luck, you can do it!
  10. I emailed you too. If this is not what you thought or wasn't helpful let me know b/c if I'm emailing out something that only helped me I'll be a bit embarrassed - LOL
  11. I emailed the spreadsheet to both of you. I hope it helps, if even a little. I happen to have an AWESOME Prof. who is very repetitious and wouldn't give the lab practical until he felt the whole class knew it - which was tonight! Good luck - I think we are off to the skeleton for our next practical
  12. We don't need to know location, but do need to know cell type, function, structure. I put it on a spreadsheet and that helped. Does your lab manual go into any detail of this - ours is great, but the spreadsheet put it all together for me. let me try to attach my spreadsheet. I can't guarantee it is 100% EDITED TO ADD: Okay it would'nt let me attach and excel file - but try putting it on a spreadsheet. HTH let me know if you have excel and I can email you a copy -
  13. You'll do fine. I have 3 sciences left (2 this semester and 1 next) to complete before applying to the RN program. I had no college prior and have been out of HS since 1986. It has taken a little while longer than I wanted (since fall '05) but with kids and life responsibilities it is what it is. Best of Luck to You!
  14. I know I will be checking this site even more for the AP & Micro threads once classes start. There do seem to be quite a few of us 'older' students with kids, work, etc in the mix. I often wonder why I didn't do this in my 20's:banghead: ..... Good Luck to you!
  15. You are NOT going to Puke, you will be fine - breath in....breath out......LOL I am reviewing ch1 and ch2 of the book today - it basically is a review of what we learned in bio101. Classes start here next Monday. Go in with confidence that you will do well~! Good Luck and let us know how it goes~
  16. Yes I thought Biology was hard (tough prof.), but managed to pull out an A. I plan on lots of studying this semester
  17. LOL - I'm anticipating the stress too - but am only taking API and Micro. Unfortunately I had to pick up 20 hours at work (32/wk) and have 5 yo triplets and a 9 yo - but the little ones start all day kindergarten this year. I am anxious for classes to start and getting in a routine. Count me in on the Study Group!
  18. Your definately not too old! I'm 39 yo, have four children and have only been able to take at the most 2 pre-req's a semester and am finally seeing the light with only 2 semesters to go before applying to the RN program. I think nursing is a second career for alot of people. I say go for it!
  19. Exatcly. That's why I asked. Having kids and only taking 2 classes a semester with no college before this I'm just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel to apply at the cc I'm at - If I apply to others here in Maryland I may have to go another semester or two... but If I don't get in on the first try I guess I can pick some of those up and be able to apply elsewhere.
  20. How does that work when you are working on one schools pre reqs and the other schools have other pre requirements? Like my pre reqs are math 2 eng API and APII micro intro and Dev. Phsyc Arts and Hum The differences aren't much, but I do see some require say 6 Arts & Hum credits or perhaps just plain different courses.....I hope this makes sense (I'm still 2 semesters away)
  21. I know your classes start next week, but try ebay you can pick one up used for around $50. We didn't start using the graphing features until at least the second week.
  22. CONGRATULATIONS!
  23. How did you do with the online AP and Micro?
