People have all kinds of misconceptions about what nursing entails....heck, I was one of them before researching the profession and getting into nursing school. The best thing you can do is shrug those comments off and hope that they never get placed...

Well, my only advice would be to try it out....that way you would know for sure whether nursing is what you want to do with your life. If not, you have a great backround you can fall back on...29 is young, you have plenty of time to find your fit.
