I just started the a.d.n. program at the HCC Nursing Allied Health Center and I was just going to see how many people on this forum have graduated from the A.D.N. program at hinds. I am probably one of the youngest people in the entire class of 102 students and one of the only 10 guys. This is my third week and so far and i am loving it... I have to admit that after reading these forums, I was a little scared about the program because apparently some people don't like the school, teachers, methods, and/or the program all together. Although I believe the people who are the most outspoken about how bad the program is are the ones didn't like the fact that the teachers don't baby you there and you have to learn the material on your own time. I was expecting some mean devil teachers and that is not the case at all. We had our first test last friday and if i had not put a lot of time into the preparation for the test, I would have failed... (i made an A) *!*!*!* I also saw a comment on here that over half of the graduating nursing class failed their boards last year... This is 450% not true! Hinds Graduates have a 100% pass rate on the boards*!*!*!*
