My childrern are in college (20&18 yrs old) & I am not married & not dating any one One of my teachers told me that I had alot of test anxiety & I don't know what 2 do about that I noticed that w/OB&Peds the more repetition I had the better it was 4 me but it was so much info w/Med Surg it became overwhelming 4 me:(

  16. i just finised a nur102 class in nursing school.the class consisted of med surg, ob, & peds and i got a d. i will not be able to go on to the class that i need to graduate in july 2008 and will have to start over in january 2009. i am second guessing my self right now and having a pitty party and not sure of what i want to do.the only thing that i am sure of is that i am confident of is that i want to be a nurse so i wanted to get some other people opinion of what i can/should do. should i go to summer school to take some classes to help me with my critical reading skills that will help with my reading in nursing or what. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. i have a rolling book bag & it was expensive & does not hold all of my books so i am not sure what to tell u. then i have to have a seperate bag to take to clinical so i understand your frustration.
  18. merry christmas to every one it has always been my dream to obtain my bachelors degree since high school i have been reading previous post and i had tried to get into some bsn programs and didn't get in (c=degree) so i tried another route & got in an lpn program at a community college and i wish i had did that in the first place because it is working out for me but when i do finish i will go back to get my rn from the community college & go back to get my bsn as well it may not be a difference in pay but just knowing that i have accomplished getting my bachelors will be enough for me it will also open some doors for me because i don't think that i will want to be a floor nurse until i retire
  19. i also just finished my first semester it feels so good but i was studying so hard that i have got sick and have a terrible cold but glad i am out of school this has been a very difficult semester and i know that it is going to get harder but i will continue to study harder & hope that i will continue on and graduate in july 2007 so please pray that i make it:nurse:

  21. I just got my books today & debined tonight and I think that it is worth it I got the idea from you guys It was only $12 worth every penny
  22. I have been a CNA for about 15 yrs and I love it Just like any job it has its days but I think before starting nursing school it will be good experience for anyone to have that CNA experience because it will give you a better understanding and a love for nursing
  23. I will not be able to get my books until the 14th because I receive finanical aid and it is about 12-13 of them
  24. I really appreciate the advice that you all have given me I have been checking other threads at the student forms as well and I have been receiving other advice as well but the reason why I posted here is because I am from NC and I wanted to get advice from people that attended schools here so thanks again and still keep the responses coming :nuke:
  25. I have several watches that need either a band or a battery so I will be using those I also have one that I can wear around my neck and I was told by a student not to use that one because it was around the neck but I will see what happens
