  2. To meet productivit goals we have to meet 21 attributes, with multiple threads with in each attribute. The score card is yes or no. No in between. My employment will be terminated If my scores dont improve by end of this month. As far as the goals being reasonable lets just say I've been her just over 6mos. we've lost 3 nurses including a supervisor. 1 Nurse is currently out on a leave of absence. DEC I where California nursing in Diversion go in front of boards members/BRN and get re-evaulated. It's a big deal I go this thursday. I'm gonna ask for patient care privelages. I was told by my case manager w/Maximus the co. that handles the diversion program to ask for patient care privleges. Since my last post Per my manager I have been diligent about being consistent on my calls, having applied her coaching skills and am doing really good. Also my manager hasn't said anything to my case manager. Any thoughts?
  3. I loving sobriety, enjoying every day. Work as health advocate for 6 mos, with strict call audits. Written up today for not meeting my productivity goals. I go to DEC 2/12. I am very concerned, How will this look. I am going to ask for patient care privelages. Any Advice, feed back or comfort. I a little down now.
  4. Hi..Have you tried putting your resume on career builder, indeed. It's very helpful. You can set up auto updates. Also Healthcare Partners is hiring for Case Manager in Torrance. Providence in Torrance has many positions. Also Fountain Valley Hosp. Good Luck.
  5. Diversion does starts once you give a negative urine drug screen, that will also be your new sobriety date as far as the BON is concerned. Contact your local nurse support group leader, the leader for long beach calif, is great..Good luck. Stay strong. This to shall pass.
  6. I'm in diversion been released to work with restrictions. Have a tuff time finding a job, with no pt. care (ex:case manager, advice nures, have CCM but they want exp). Good luck in your recovery. Stay strong.
  7. It's safe to tell your MD. he can't & won't tell. Just get help on your own first. I reported my self to the boards and am having a hard time finding a job now. Your doing the right thing.
  8. I read on the BRN web site. Every case is treated on an individual basis. But in speaking to other nurses they say the program is 3 yrs. How soon can I practice nursing, with restrictions.
  9. Any advice on being an paramedic/fireman now interested in becoming an RN.
  10. What are the requirements or certifications that you need to become a flight nurse?
  11. I to am an LVN who computer shut off at 86 questions, and am sitting for my boards next Thu July 20, I'm nervous. But Im sure you'll pass. I'll say a prayer for all of us. Let us know how it works out.
  12. Hi girls, I am scheduled to take NCLEX on July 20, and I am so so .... feeling and scoring the same way. I am reviewing Kaplan and Saunders. We have made it this far we've got to be doing something right. We can do it!
  13. I graduated May 2006, and yes my school required a drug screen and a background check. Before we could start our clinical rotations, I guess it's something new. The school told us that I was the hospitals that we did our clinicals at that were requiring the background check. They told us at the last minute and we had to pay for both.
  14. Thanks you've encouraged me to be positive. I am sitting for my boards on July 20, and am nervous. I do believe that I will pass, but my family tells me it's okay if for some reason you need to take the nclex again. Thanks
