It's funny I didn't realize this until after the fact....maybe not all places are the same but after reading up on some posts here..The LTC problem for new nurses seems to be common..

Thanks for your input!!! Geesh I am having one of those times..questioning my career choice and if I made the right decision or not...all because of a bad turn out with my first nursing job...It was in a LTC facility...they gave me a 4 day orientatio...

I graduated in March 2010..Licensed in Aug 2010 just got my first nursing job...it didn't work out..sooo now I'm back to square one again....I'm probably gonna jump into any job I can get to make some cash..untill I come up with something else..Sucks...

I'm also a new nurse with no previous experience other than clinical....Well I interviewed for a job on this past Monday..The nursing director said she would call me by Friday to let me know if i got the job...I waited until friday afternoon (today)....
