For Ms. Suzanne and anyone who are applying for Illinois..pls help.
you can apply for nursys verification service. you don't need to be a us taxpayer for that (you might be referring to the compact states license rule). use the paper form and not the online system. use a bank draft for the fee. the instructions, procedure, forms, faq and everything you need to know about nursys is in ncsbn.org website. i hope this helps.

it will probably go thru the process of evaluation (similar to cgfns ces). which school are you taking it? what are your choices? are you also working as a nurse?

For Ms. Suzanne and anyone who are applying for Illinois..pls help.
what i know is that there's an extra fee for every additional academic credential in excess of 3 completed academic program (including secondary education). i think the fee is $50. if you prefer, you can cancel the order. send an email, indicate the order number. if you already paid, there's a no refund policy.

Jobs for June 2006
it could be an internal policy/procedure. perhaps, your friend would like to talk/ask ms. rocero herself. the prc chair welcomes anyone who wants to talk to her in her office despite her busy schedule. no prior appointments needed.

from CGFNS concerning the June NLE exam
perhaps this little info may be somewhat related to the discussion: a june 2006 nle passer recently received his cgfns ces report. it states, among others, that his prc nurse license/registration is comparable to the registration of a 1st level general registered nurse in the us.

New Mexico Licensure Question
the TOR (with RLE) must come to the bon directly from your school. you don't include it with your application form. i understand that the $160 for the bon already includes the $50 transcript evaluation fee. double-check the forms/instructions. for the DPS, separate payment of $31. use bank draft. per bon's instruction, email follow-up only after 60 days from bon's receipt of application. lacking documents will delay the process. reading the previous pages here can give you more info. Also, the bon's website and the licensure forms in the website.

New Mexico Licensure Question
1. you don't go to nbi taft. the main clearance center is now in carriedo near quiapo church. be there before 8 a.m., look for the nbi building along carriedo, go to the upper floor (5th or 6th floor, IRD room) sign in the logbook, tell the personnel that you need to have fingerprinting for application for a US license for nurses and you will use a US fingerprint card. you will be given a piece of paper that you will bring to the lower floor where the fingerprinting will be done, then ask for the the NBI fingerprint technician authorized for the purpose. you will be guided by the NBI personnel. most likely, there will be other US licensure applicants there like you. just be there before 8 a.m. don't forget to have one of the NM forms signed by the fingerprint technician (read the forms). you write the other details in the form.

confuse about maiden name...please help
In the US, I understand that same rule applies. A woman can choose to continue using her own surname even after marriage. Example: California's First Lady Maria Owings Shriver who is married to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

confuse about maiden name...please help
hello grace! under Philippine law, marriage does not compel a woman to adopt her husband's surname. she can opt to continue using her own surname in all her documents and IDs (such as passport). her civil status is married, but name and status are two different things. if asked to show proof of status or of relationship to the person whom the woman declares as her husband (examples: for inclusion in the immigration petition as derivative dependents or in insurance applications as beneficiaries or in cases of annulment of marriage, etc...), she can show the marriage contract. in social occasions, the woman may be formally introduced as Mrs. so and so (using husband's surname) if she wants to. But, in her legal documents (such as IDs, land titles, etc..), she can continue to use her own surname. if she adopted her husband's surname in her documents (example: school transcripts, ID) and asked to show proof of change of name, she can show the marriage contract. Example of this is in applications for CGFNS services, she must submit a copy of her marriage contract if her college transcripts show her married name. the important thing is to have consistency in using a name in all documents. this will faciltate matching of documents, records, IDs, etc... i hope this helps.

Applying For New Jersey BON
if you had your nursing degree from a school outside the US, you need to have CES and TOEFL reports submitted to NJ. you might also be asked to submit a US SSN before you will be given an eligibility or before a license can be issued to you.
