Vaccination Mandating
Moving forward I imagine as healthcare providers we are going to be required to get boosters in order to be considered vaccinated. At this point I think this is an important question since COVID19 appears to have become endemic. The question that should be on everybody's mind is how safe is it to get frequent boosters. Should we be getting boosters every 4 months, 6 months, every year? I am glad that there is agencies that are considering the safety of frequent boosters and the feasibility of accomplishing such tasks. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-01-11/repeat-booster-shots-risk-overloading-immune-system-ema-says

I want the vaccine in my life! I want the vaccine in my wife! Dr. Fauci! Give me that Ouchie! Vaccinate yo body! Vaccinate Afterparty! ? It's good to see some appreciation of satire on AN. Yeah I found my self singing the song throughout the day. It's quite catchy. I crack up each time I watch the video. It's no surprise the song went viral.

Criminal Record - Texas. Do I even have a chance anymore ?
Just go for nursing. Just make sure to stay out of trouble moving forward. You might have to disclose to the BON when you are accepted to nursing school. Best place to find out the answer to your concerns is the Texas Board of Nursing.

Fauci has drawn heat to his credibility from people along all sides of the political spectrum and for good reason. I am not defending Trump in regards to the decisions he made early on in the pandemic. He made the same mistake that many countries made. They choose to downplay the pandemic to keep the economy going. What he did get right was operation warp speed for producing the vaccines that you wish to be mandated.

Vaccination Mandating
Yeah the danger was being down played by many on the media especially trumps corona virus advisor Anthony Fauci when we should have been preparing as a nation. The CDC really has one job and that is to prepare and prevent for outbreaks of disease. Like Dr. Martenson said the CDC and WHO really did drop the ball on not recognizing this as a dangerous pandemic early on. I think many countries were more concerned about the economic hit from lockdowns than the pandemic itself. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2020/02/17/nih-disease-official-anthony-fauci-risk-of-coronavirus-in-u-s-is-minuscule-skip-mask-and-wash-hands/4787209002/

Are there any travel nurse jobs for Unvaccinated Nurses?
The CDC recommends utilizing johnson and johnson after having a reaction to pfizer/moderna. Johnson and Johnson uses a different model of the vaccine. Pfizer/moderna are lipid nanoparticles/mrna vaccines while the johnson/johnson are adenovirus/dna vaccines. However they also recommend a risk assessment be done, and possibly a referral to an allergist/immunologist. https://www.CDC.gov/vaccines/covid-19/clinical-considerations/covid-19-vaccines-us.html#Contraindications

Well to state the obvious Chris Martenson has more relevant credentials than you. He went to Duke university and got a ph.d in pathology. As the matter of fact thanks to Dr. Martenson I prepared for the pandemic back when MSM was saying COVID19 was just the flu. I managed to beat the crowd fighting for toilet paper, got plenty of n95 respirators (which some hospitals didn't manage to do), cleaning solutions, and a well stocked fridge thanks to Dr. Martenson. Look on his Youtube channel and you can see his coverage of COVID19 in early 2020. https://www.linkedin.com/in/chris-martenson-53691711

Yeah I agree with you but employers are liable for the conditions of employment. CDC clearly states that if you have anaphylaxis to first dose of pfizer/moderna you should not get a second dose of pfizer/moderna. Also if you had an anaphylactic reaction to johnson and johnson you should not get boosted with johnson and johnson. What if someone has an anaphylactic reaction to the mrna vaccine (pfizer/moderna) and adenovirus/dna vaccine (johnson & johnson). This is concievable since the allergic sensitivity could develop in response to the spike protein which both vaccines models encode for. Should that person get the booster considering that Fauci is saying that the definition of "fully vaccinated" might change to include boosters?

I specifically said if you had an anaphylactic reaction to the first dose of mrna vaccine the CDC adviseds against the second mrna dose. Yes getting a different type of vaccine is an option AFTER a risk benefit analysis. From the same chart on the CDC website. People with a contraindication to mRNA COVID-19 vaccines have a precaution to Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine, and vice versa5. Who should conduct that risk assessment? I imagine the doctor of the patient. So the question is what role do the doctors of patients play on medical exemptions? Once again please provide references.

Really dude? Having an anaphylactic reaction is not a contraindication? I don't think you take the time to think before you type. Your political zeal is really starting to show. What do we ask all of our patients upon admission? Do you have a history of allergies? Why do we do that, because it is a contraindication to give meds that people are allergic too. You should really start providing references to the claims you are making because you might be labeled as a nurse spreading misinformation. Leading Nursing Organizations Issue Policy Brief Regarding Nurses Spreading Misinformation. https://www.NCSBN.org/16370.htm As per the CDC anaphylactic reaction is an adverse event in which you should not get a second dose of an mrna vaccine if the first dose caused an anaphylactic reaction. https://www.CDC.gov/vaccines/covid-19/clinical-considerations/covid-19-vaccines-us.html#Appendix-B

As per Dr. Steven Martenson, there are people who are being told they must take the second dose against their doctors advice as a condition of employment. So employee's have to decide between their employment or following their doctor's recommendations. Anyways Robert Barnes states that people in this position should get in writing the vaccine policy of the facility, their medical exemption rejection, or religious exemption rejection, and write a formal letter to their employer stating that they are taking the vaccine against their will. Like Robert Barnes stated earlier pharmacological companies enjoy legal liability protection but the facilities enforcing vaccine mandates do not. So in other words facilities rejecting medical exemptions should be following the current standard of care regarding vaccine medical exemptions.

So the osha mandate was blocked by the supreme court for large private business but the medicare mandate will still be in effect for health care workers for facilities receiving medicare or medicaid. https://www.npr.org/2022/01/13/1072165393/supreme-court-blocks-bidens-vaccine-or-test-mandate-for-large-private-companies https://www.cnbc.com/2022/01/13/supreme-court-ruling-biden-covid-vaccine-mandates.html

So the supreme court just heard arguments for vaccine mandates via OSHA and medicare. I found the following video interesting regarding the legality of vaccine mandates. What I found most interesting is that there is facilities that are not giving medical exemptions when necessary such as having a adverse reaction (myocarditis, pericarditis, anaphylaxis) to the first vaccine but still requiring the second vaccination. The lawyer in the video below states that even though pharmaceutical companies enjoy legal protections against adverse reactions, employers requiring covid19 vaccinations as a condition of an employment are still legally liable for any vaccine injuries to their employee's. The video below is a conversation between Dr. Chris Martenson and attorney Robert Barnes. Below is an article going over the vaccine mandates being heard at the supreme court: https://www.heritage.org/courts/commentary/supreme-court-just-heard-oral-arguments-vaccine-mandate-cases-here-are-the

So what exactly is misinformation? Are you talking about the scientific publications that I referenced. See let me educate you about something called references. I was a science teacher you know. When you reference something you are given credit to someone else for the work that they did. So when you say that myocarditis related to vaccines is misinformation/disinformation you are actually saying that the scientist are spreading misinformation. Let's be honest the publications are not misinformation but information that is inconvenient to your ideology.

That article you referenced states that Moderna is more likely to cause inflammation than Pfizer which agrees with the article I posted earlier. However the article I posted earlier also compares myocarditis rates between covid19 infections, Pfizer, and Moderna and states that Moderna has higher rates of myocarditis compared to Pfizer and covid19 infection. You think that me referencing publications is discouraging people to get vaccinated and you call that promoting vaccine hesitancy. I call it evidence based practice where doctors utilize scientific publications to guide the decision they make with their patients. Why not give the safest vaccine? What you are promoting by discouraging discussion of data is data hesitancy. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-021-01630-0
