We have one RN and two STs who staff 11p-7a, to cover traumas and emergencies. We also have two STs and 2 RNs on call so that a team can always be free. We're a level 2 trauma center.

One RN and one ST are in-house from 11p-7a. We also have one call team and a heart call team.

Nope, just the regular 7-3, 3-11 shifts. We do have shifts that overlap like mine, 1pm to 11pm.

I work at a Level I trauma center so we are staffed 24/7.

Same here.

Nope, we have 7-3 and 3-11. We also have 7-7 and 11a-7p shifts as well...One scrub works 1-9:30 I think....Call team kicks in for 11p-7a.

We staff our night shift with a Surgery Aide (PCA/nursing assistant) and have 2 call teams of a RN and ST and a call team for neuro and call team for CV (4 call teams total)

Rural hospital - surgical staff are on call at night and on weekends.

We have two teams in main OR and one team in Trauma (we're a Level 1 trauma center). One of our main OR teams acts as trauma backup should multiple level 1's come in. We also have first and second call for general surgery should all teams be tied up, and an open heart team.

No...we don't have an ER, therefore 11p-7a is covered by on call.

Level 1 Trauma Center here... staffed 24/7. Nights consists of 10 staffed people with 2 teams on general call, 1 person on nuero scrub call, 1 person on gu call, 1 person on eye call, and 1 CV team on call. Weekends are staffed the same as nights.

yep, we have that shift. I used to work it too, and I'm thankful every day that I am now off it for good. We're a level 2 trauma center, so someone is always in-house, as well as CV and neuro call teams, with general team backup call.
