Please help!

If anyone can I help me at all I would be so thankful!

5 months ago I was admitted to a psych center for OD on Klonopin because I was very depressed and anxiety ridden. Since then I have been doing great and completely turned my life around. But I just found out I have to meet with the board of nursing tomorrow and they said they will be looking at my health records because of what happened. The reason I am worried is at that time I had smoked pot and I'm so scared that I will lose my license over it! I haven't smoked since then! (5months ago)But I don't know what to expect? Can anyone help!? Thank you!

i am sorry you are going through this, per TOS, we can not give legal advise.

but you will find many here with experience dealing with BONs for one reason or another....

please seek advise of attorney with experience in dealings with board of nursing action.

You will do just fine, if you've not smoked, or done drugs, no problem with UA. You are your own best friend believe in yourself.

I realize you are supposed to meet with the BON today but it would be best to go with a lawyer. The BON is NOT the nurse's friend!

Read through this forum. Go back and read the absolute wealth of experience that has been shared here over the years. All of us here have honorable scars from dealing with our demons and what can be a very unforgiving profession.

We just went over the OD. I signed the release for them to look at my medical records... I now we wait...I'm so scared :'(

i know I messed up. I'm def paying for it
