I need something 100% online, no clinicals, no proctored exams, no nonsense. I just want to get this done. Any advice?

Excelsior College, Chamberlain College, and American Sentinel University are 3 that I know of. I started with Chamberlain but their statistics and I didn't really get along. Figuring out the answers were devastating but DISCUSSING how I came to such conclusions on the discussion board was impossible. So I returned to Excelsior and did statistics via straighterline.com (no discussion board to affect my hard-earned grade) a while back BEFORE they started their proctoring, which Excelsior accepted.

I'm sure there are others out there but these are the ones that I know of that fits your requirements. Good luck to you!

I'm applying to University of Louisiana-Lafayette program. No clinicals, no preceptor,no group projects. All I know so far. Waiting to here from a program person to get more details once my transcripts have been reviewed.

Specializes in Pediatrics, High-Risk L&D, Antepartum, L.

I did Chamberlain's RN to BSN and loved it. I'm doing my MSN/PNP now and may return to Chamberlain for the DNP.

University of Texas at Arlington has a 100% online RN-BSN track. But I'll warn you, it--and many other online RN-BSN programs out there--aren't all fluff. They are indeed no nonsense.

Grand Canyon is a 100% online. I'm currently in my third class and gearing up for my 4th. Like Meriwhen said, there are no fluff classes. It's the down and dirty version that is accelerated. Just this week I have 2 daily questions that I have to post with scholarly references, one 15 slide power point on Type 1 diabetes, and a three page health assessment on a geriatric person. To top it all off, I have to respond to 9 different people in a substantive manner on the discussion forum, all the while working, taking care of family and dealing with negotiations that have gone south at work. Yeah..I'm lovin' school.:banghead:

I'm in my third semester doing Utica College online. No clinical. Their online learning program is easy to navigate. Classes are 8 weeks long. Interesting classes. I transferred from the UMASS Boston online program into Utica and I'm much happier. Tuition is reasonable. What I really appreciate is the supportive staff. My advisor is always helpful and gets back to me the same day. Everyone is so super helpful, unlike some other programs I have been involved in. Good luck with whatever you choose!

That's the work load for one class?

Ohio University. It will take me a total of 13 months to complete my degree. Nursing classes 5 weeks and tuition right $243/hr for out of state.

Doesn't everyone have proctored exams of some sort?? How else would they know if you're cheating.

Check out wgu. I'm starting there next week and have heard many good things. I believe we have the option of doing our "proctored" exams via webcam.

Most RN-BSN programs are paper/assignment driven. No tests.

Jacksonville University. I am going there now, there are no clinicals, but there is a "practice project" that you complete at your workplace. Some classes do have proctored exams, but its all done through ProctorU, which is online with a webcam. Don't get me started on how hard ProctorU sucks though. All the classes have been great. No fluff whatsoever. They are 8 weeks classes and I've been taking 2 at a time. You WONT do well if you don't take it seriously. My only complaint is with the company that handles the registration and administers the website. They are unresponsive, not that helpful, and every time you talk to them, they are always asking for referrals. But JU itself? Absolutely no issues.
