Obamacare, what could go wrong?

I used Google....never found anything that said Fox News told viewers that black organizers were coming to take white people's rights away. Please enlighten me.

The only thing I could find about Katrina vicitms being held hostage by the gov't was on a liberal blog. BTW, Bush was in charge of the gov't then. So, supposing that is true, that really wouldn't prove that Fox is biased. I happen to believe they are biased, but what makes them immoral?

I don't know of Rush Limbaugh to ever organize a protest. And, if he did why would he be protesting against the Tea Party? And why would he need permission from Fox news?

Then there was that Farleigh-Dickenson study that found Fox viewers to be the least informed viewers ... with MSNBC coming next. Interestingly, when I try to go to the updated study, the page comes up blank ... and I can't find it in the archives, either. What could possibly go wrong, you ask? Here's what can go wrong - that anybody might listen to Donald Trump, who is a complete wackadoodle.

I would say fhe following link tells about what can go wrong. The IRS is going to have free rein on your entire life.

What can and probably will go wrong is that the StayPuffed Marshmellow Man will destroy NYC, Fidel Castro will voluntarily relinquish all power, the Atlantic Ocean will turn into chocolate sauce, Greece will ditch the euro in favor of Monopoly money, and general anarchy will rule the earth. Because that's how bad Obama is!

What can go wrong is providers like me will quit seeing all Medicaid patients. I work in California. If I have a patient who is straight Med-Cal which is Medicaid for California I get paid $15 for the visit. I, along with the other providers I work with have severely limited the amount of straight Medicaid patients we see. If reimbursement falls lower we will quit seeing those patients all together.

If Obamacare doesn't get repealed and the reductions in payments to Medicare providers goes through I will quit seeing Medicare patients. My entire office has sent letters to our patients letting them know they will have to find another provider if reimbursement gets lowered. We will stick with cash paying and PPO patients.

So what can go wrong??? Millions of patients being unable to find a medical provider because medical providers refuse to see them because of low reimbursement rates. That is what is going to happen.

More importantly, the people of Massachussetts wanted it and they got it. In contrast, the law we have now was signed while disregarding the People's wishes.

Oh, really? You critics of this health care act certainly do not speak for me. A few years back, when my oldest child graduated from high school going on to college, I remember waking up in the middle of the night thinking how this adult child was going to afford college and health insurance without my and my husband's help (which we could then not continue him on our family plan.) And then my second one also graduated from high school without health insurance. Any decent parents would be thinking about this.

Now, all of our children can stay in our insurance coverage until they are 26 years old. I am happy for those who can take advantage of this.

However, I often find myself wondering, where were you, Obamacare when I needed you?

Media Matters???? Are you joking? It's probably as left as Fox is right? How about the sole reason for Media Matters existence is because a very wealthy liberal created it for the purpose of bringing down Fox and conservative talk radio. On a daily basis, they post creatively edited video and audio. They have no interest in reporting any news. They pull out all the stops trying to demonize Fox and Limbaugh.

Fox certainly is right leaning, but everyday they have democrats, progressives, WH officials, democratic strategists, etc. to tell their side of the story. And they have them on live answering questions, not splicing their video clips.

"Death Panels"....a overly dramatic term. But yes, a team of gov't administrators is going to make cookie-cutter policies regarding healthcare. You already see Medicare taking healthcare decisions out of patient and doctors' hands. And, how about core measures in hospitals? Physicians have to follow them, or document why they do not, or the hospital doesn't get paid. As gov't healthcare grows, this type of from the top down healthcare is only going to increase.

Yes, really. Most Americans are not in favor of the law in it's current form, and were not when it passed.

They are your kids! Why shouldn't you help them afford college and insurance?

If there was more competition allowed between insurance companies, many companies on their own would probably let children stay on their parents policy awhile longer. As it is I was allowed to stay on my parents policy while I was in college, and my stepson is on mine now at age 21. Instead, we have the government telling insurance companies how to run their business.

There are some good things about the law, but law as a whole is going to bring us all down if we don't elect a new president, throw this law out, and start over.

AND all the web linked ACA's are all just a touch over 900 pages and on democrat or left sites. WHERE is the WHOLE thing?!?! They claim it is because the size of the law would be too large and cause download problems. SO,,,,,,,, why don't they post it in pieces. Those with nothing to hide....hide nothing.

Again, here's the link to all 2407 pages. It's not exactly hidden, it's the very first result for searching "ACA full text". 2407 pages does sound long, but there's only about 175 words per page, in terms of word count, it's almost half as long as Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
