Does anyone know where to buy a nurses' cap for Halloween? I can only find caps on X rated sites and I'd prefer to not get that junk mail.

I had to wear a cap every day for clinicals during school. SOOOOOO glad I no longer have to put up with that for work -
That and the hair above the collar.
Thank God school days are over!!!

Kind of funny.....the caps were one of the main attractions to nursing when I was a child! I still hope I get one at my graduation ceremony, just to have as a keepsake.

Ah but you know they are different for each school (or at least they were in my area). I was sooo surprised when I bought my first uniforms when they asked did I want to get a cap... Turns out since my school was established when pillbox hats were in vogue, that our schools nursing cap is a small pill box style hat... Apparently people used to be able to tell what school you attended based on the cap...Is that true all over or just some strange thing a fellow nurse sold to me?

eBay has them, that's where I got mine. Kay's caps takes a long time to deliver.I checked them before I bought one on eBay. I also got my vintage nurse's dress there.
They have some really neat ones.
It's true, KatieBell. I would not apply to a school if I didn't like the cap!! It was definitely part of the criteria. @ the time I went to school, I didn't want to get stuck w/a cap I hated for the rest of my life. Who knew just how much times and customs would change.
