Sorry to hear that you haven't heard anything from Nova but your not alone. I still haven't either, there are others. I know the deferring option is bittersweet; more wait time but at least we haven't been denied like other students. Therefore, we have to be grateful. I'm glad you joined our blog we really try to help one another during this process which has been challenging to say the least. I received a call from Nova today. They told me that all seats had been filled, but that she would do me the favor and go ahead and defer me for thw winter term. She also stated that with my grades I should have a good chance of getting in for next term...Hopefully that is the case :)

I just got that email which was weird because it said that they couldn't review my application, because they had so many applications. How crazy b/c I applied in Feb and they couldn't get to me??? So I deferred it for winter. Nothing else I can do at this point.

I received the email to defer to Winter 2011!! Atleast it's not a denial...yet! I'm still very hopeful so let's see how it goes! I'm still praying for everyone because I know it's a tough waiting game. Let me know if anyone gets accepted for the Winter!

Hey everyone so glad we all got deferred! It is very bittersweet, at least for us pending students (more waiting!) but at least its not a denial. I also received the email regarding the deferral and submitted my official request to defer for WINTER 2011 via the VIP page. I hope we all get answers soon! keep us posted. Good luck

GOOD LUCK GUYS I COMPLETED MY APPLICATION 6/11 and ALREADY GOT MY ACCEPTANCE FOR THE WINTER HOPEFULLY IT IS AS QUICK FOR YOU GUYS SINCE NOW YOUR APPLICATION IS IN FOR THE WINTER TERM AND ITS VERY EARLY. GOOD LUCK GUYS!!

Wow! seriously? You got an acceptance letter quick! I really hope I get an acceptance soon! Im pretty sure I applied mid June. I hope I get in. Do you mind sharing your GPA and your grades in your core classes!? I want to know what it is they are looking at!

My VIP page is saying the same thing too! Nothing under admissions OMG what if i didnt get in

So my application was deffered to winter2011. I got the email on Friday. The way I see it is that at least I didnot get denied. Still having HOPE and being very very patient.

I honestly believe that all deffered applications should get accepted because i have spoken with a couple of people who have rcd' denial letters = ( so at least you guys are still at the top of the application pool! Let's stay positive for positive news to come. Good luck to everyone!

Jpeds, I finished my AA @ Miami Dade College my total GPA was 3.4 my core classes are all A's and B's but since with 60 credits I have a 3.4 and in those 60 I have about 3 c's I'm sure they calculated my GPA a bit higher. I never asked them what they calculated my GPA to and never bothered to sit and calculate it myself either.
