  1. Marah: I am now in the MDC nursing program at Baptist and I scored an 82% on my TEAS. My GPA overall was 3.06 but I think they only count your science GPA, which I'm not exactly sure about mine. Anyway, I wanted to encourage you to apply with the score you have because it is a great score! When I took the TEAS, most people were in the 60-70s in % so getting in the 80s is good. Just wanted to help out :)
  2. Those might be the titles of the chapters? Try looking through the books but if no luck, email the professor that sent it to you.
  3. Jesse, I think you do because when you register for the classes and than you go to "view books" on the current students page, all of the books are there for the classes you registered. All of the ones on that yellow paper they gave us are seen under "view books" I hope this helps.
  4. Navy- I have the panel interview this afternoon at 330. I wish you the best tomorrow with the interview, don't be nervous! No matter how it goes down, you are STILL in the nursing program which was a big success in itself.
  5. I turned in my paperwork at orientation, the only thing I was missing was the background check which I went yesterday to do, and the 2nd MMR. They said at the orientation that they understood it was a short time frame for everyone to bring in their paperwork so thats why they allowed us to register for the classes now. We need to have everything completely turned in before the first day of classes or our classes will get dropped. Thats what I understood from the orientation.
  6. Thanks! I actually went today for the assessment and a bunch of us hadn't been updated in our degrees so thats why I couldn't register. Everything is cleared up now and I'm registered and ready to go! By the way, I wanted to tell you guys that I heard a lot of people had very high GPA's but that doesn't necessarily mean you need to have a high GPA. My overall was a 3.06 and my sciences were all B's. I'm not sure how they calculated it all but I did get an 81% on the TEAS, so that is a very important test to get into the program, so I would recommend getting a really good grade on it.
  7. Hi everyone, I got accepted into the Generic program SPring 2011. I went to the orientation yesterday. I was wondering if anyone else is having problems registering for classes?
  8. Hi everyone, I got accepted into the Spring term 2011 at MDC Generic FT program! Finally!! They were faster than Nova! I still haven't heard from Nova and I applied in April!! Anyway I was wondering how long the MDC FT program is since it states on the website 2 years but some people say it's a year to a year and half. I'm gonna stop working so I'm trying to plan my budget for the next year or so....
  9. Hi Everyone, I applied for the Spring 2011 FT program at MDC. Please let me know of anything you guys hear on the process. Anything helps! Thanks
  10. I can't find information on BSN program at the BC website, Do you guys know if it's an entry level program, or do you have to already have your RN?
  11. Good advice giggles. I'm going to do that and see how it goes for me.. Thanks :)
  12. Hi giggles! No I haven't done that, do you think I should? I used to do that a lot before I turned in my application so I didn't think about making an appointment afterwards.
