I can't decide where to test at. Do anyone have any suggestions, I know it is different for everyone, but I would like to hear others opinions. I am going to decide in a couple days and submit my application then. Thanks for any advice you can give. I have read on the EPN good things about faxton-st.lukes in Utica, NY and SRMC in riverdale, GA.

I tested at Utica, I had one of the most wonderful experiences there. I never felt like the examiners made things difficult. I passed on 11/22/09 no repeats.

I've been trying to decide between MPAC and NPAC. I'm leaning toward the NPAC, as it seems to be moving faster. I really haven't heard much negativity toward any specific site.

Utica - I passed on Jan. 10th. Loved the site, and all CEs and CA was just wonderful. I failed my first pt (was completely my fault, I had this "brain fart") and CE was very supportive. She gave me compliments on my performance, apologized about failing me (she really had to, I weighted a baby with her diaper on). She even said something "You have to tell me what do you do for a living after you pass your CPNE". I needed to hear something like that after the failure.
Between the pt's the CEs always was making sure that we had about 20 minutes to collect our thoughts and have something to eat. I felt that they really care about the students.

I've heard really good things about the SPAC too recently. Lots of people calling and getting dates right away as well.

When you apply, can you pick which site to test at? Utica is sounding like a nice place to go!!
Yes, you can. But if you choose only one site, it can increase your waiting time.

I second Utica! Civita was there the weekend that I went and she made us feel so comfortable. The CE's were laid back and really wanted you to succeed. I passed Dec 07,2008 with no repeats.

Tina who gives the workshop in San Jose CA says something like, "The best site is the site that you test at." In other words, if you are prepared, it doesn't make a difference. With the weather lately, I wouldn't want to travel to any of the sites!
