Did you take the NCLEX yet? I haven't found a place yet which will hire new grads without the RN license. You are lucky to be able to start right after you graduate.

The school I went to (and others I heard about) takes over month to submit the credentials to the Board of Nursing, before we can even take the NCLEX.

same with me. It will be June sometime before I can take the NCLEX, but I will be working under a temporary graduate license which is good for 90 days. I know I am lucky.. they offered 6 months of training for this dream job.. cant wait to get started

Working in Med/Surg.

I started in ED (i'm still there)

You are really lucky to have found that job. :) So under a temp. grad. license can you still give meds or start IVs, or does it all have to be under a supervision of a licensed RN?

I start in July on ortho/neuro :w00t: I graduate in May and they wanted me to take the NCLEX before starting.

LTAC, still there...August will be 1 year, yeah!!!!
