Where did you train and what state?

The BON will and do change their requirements so a lot may depend on how long ago you trained

im from the philippines,, but im here at california to take the exam,, they told me that i have some deficiency,, but just last year my classmate who have took the same curricullum like me didnt encounter problem like mine,, we also compared the number of units and number of hours and it's the same,,

tnx for the reply

Sometimes there will be a difference of opinion, just as you stated. People have discussed this previously. Perhaps if you speak to a different evaluator at the board, your record can be considered the same way the others were. Worth a try.

Hi! I'm from the Philippines too, and currently living here in CA. I just want to ask on how was your application going right now? My friend had the same problem so he decided to apply in another state. I also submitted an application last month. And right now, the CA BON is asking me a lot of additional requirements that wasn't posted on their website.

rune23 and bern026, what school did you graduate from?

hi

i also have the same situation like yours!.

ive been applying for more than a year already

and then after submitting everything they need, i received a letter just now telling me that my evaluation application for licensure does not meet the minimun requirements in psychiatric nursing,

dang! i was really expecting that was my eligibility already.

i also have a friend who graduated 2008, i graduated 2009, who jez received her eligibility. we went in the same school. i really dont know what to do. we also have the same analyst. Maam *******

please i need or we need your help on this.

im so frustrated super. and sad.

thanks so much!

I applied in New York last August 2010. I got my ATT last week. More than a year. The wait was def frustrating but once you got a hold of your ATT, adrenaline starts to kick in. I hope you guys get everything fixed so you can start to prepare for the test. :)

Hi.. I'm also from the Philippines, from a not well known school. I got my ATT already. My advice is to talk to your Licensing Analyst about the problem if you have a batchmate or a friend who is from the same school and also have the same curriculum and took the NCLEX already. I read similar problems in this section of allnurses and most of them got approved [from what I read] when they told their licensing analyst that their batchmate with the same curriculum has been approved by BRN before and have been granted to take NCLEX.

I hope I can ease your anxieties a little, and give a potential solution to your problem. I know deep in your heart that you're really bent on taking the NCLEX exam and I know the torture of waiting and hoping that someday you'll get your ATT. Please update us about your problem. Don't lose hope.

hello there, where can i contact a Licensing Analyst? are they representative of BON? same problem here. BRN required me a copy of school curriculum plus other requirements. I am very sure that I'm not the first to take nclex from my school. Sad to say that my mom is doing all the work for my documents in the Philippines.
