  1. I'll try to call them tomorrow just to make sure they have received the first additional requirements that I've submitted. And by that, if they still require me to submit everything they're asking even with the first additional requirements on hand, then I guess I really need to get in touch with someone from my school again. It will be a long process, I'm just hoping and I know everything will fall in to place soon. God bless on your career! (:
  2. Did they asked you for the exact documents? I was trying to contact them but no one answered the phone after 2 hours of waiting. And I think there's no choice for me but to submit those requirements regardless of the reasons why. It will take maybe a month to complete everything. I just hope that after I submit those, next thing their gonna send me is the privilege to take the exam. Thanks for the reply btw. (:
  3. Hi htodab! I graduated from Trinity University of Asia.

    Additional Requirements

Yup. That's what I did. I'm having a hard time to contact them through phone. I even sent an email to confirm if they have receive the first additional requirements that I submitted. Just to make sure. They might just missed out the first ones that I've sent that's why they're asking me for more documents. Nevertheless, there's nothing I can do but to give what they ask.

    Additional Requirements

I'm a reg. nurse from the Philippines and graduated 2010. I arrived here in CA last June 2011. I applied for NCLEX last August. After a week they replied asking for some additional requirements like my rle logforms. I was able to submit those in a week. And after a month they were asking me again for a lot of documents coming from my school. Items that must come directly to the Board from your nursing school: 1. Verification letter from your nursing school that they follow the curriculum provided by CHED. If not, why. Have them explain if theory and clinical completed concurrently, in the same semester reflected on transcripts and if all clinical rotations are completed within the semester that is reflected on the transcripts and RLE 2. Clinical rotation schedule for the required actual/assisted/cord dressing/major minor procedures refelecting exact dates clinical coursework was completed, locations rotations were completed, instructor signatures etc. 3. Have your nursing school submit an explanation on when the required major/minor/actual/assisted/cord dressing procedures are supposed to be completed - which semester(s) 4. A student handbook for the timeframe you began your nursing program 5. Academic calendar which reflects exacts dates each semester, all holidays and all breaks begin and end It is just getting ridiculous. They could've just at least explain why they are asking for those requirements. I've already submitted everything that they've asked me on their first letter, like my rle logforms, a copy of my entire VISA including blank pages, a copy of my prc license as a nurse in the PI, a copy of my diploma, and I even submitted a copy of my board exam rating. I don't just get the reason why are they asking me those additional requirements when I've already presented that - just like the other Filipino applicants, I legally graduated from a qualified university with the right curriculum. Why can't they just send me my eligibility.
  6. I understand. But they could've just say something about the need for those requirements. I was expecting for my eligibility after I responded to their first request for some additional requirements. I just don't know why they need like a "student handbook" as a part of their requirements. Their policies might have changed but they could've atleast update or tell something on their website. I know I'm not the only one having problems with regards to this matter, it's just hard to deal with it when your just expecting someone from another country to communicate with my school while I'm here in the US.

    NCLEX rn application problem

Hi! I'm from the Philippines too, and currently living here in CA. I just want to ask on how was your application going right now? My friend had the same problem so he decided to apply in another state. I also submitted an application last month. And right now, the CA BON is asking me a lot of additional requirements that wasn't posted on their website.
