Mosby's came closest to the questions I saw on the board exam.

Saunders has a lot of info and is very straigh forward and has a lot of questions. We were provided Saunders in school and I bought my own. But I felt really prepared.

:bowingpurGauwitz Practice Questions really helped me. Also get the LaCharity book on Delegation and Prioritization - very helpful!

just to confuse you more... Kaplan haha. no but seriously its a great book especially the beginning because it teaches you HOW to answer questions. After reading it my exam scores went up in nursing school... it was like something clicked. It also comes with a CD with an extra database of questions besides the 2 practice exams in the book. But its really the beginning part of the book that is key. Its a required text now in my nursing classes.

I'm going to agree with Saunders Comprehensive, I tutored 1st level students when I was second level. It was a great book, also has the test taking tips, and the cd is wonderful for practice.

Good luck

Many people are successful when using Saunders Comprehensive Review.

Pearson's NCLEX review was spot on when I took boards, it's a huge yellow & blue book and the disc that comes with it is customizable so you can use it as you go in class and study what's relevant to the section being covered.

exam-cram?

I believe it is Exam Cram I bought the same one =)

We also got the saunder's big old orange book in school. I didn't really use that much,

I got the nclex pn made incredibly easy it's a big orange book as well, it is loaded with information! almost overwhelming, but i like it alot! Also alot of my classmates got the lippincott review (workbook?) it's is all questions, and goes like system by system, and that was helpful because it is all nclex style questions! I don't know if I passed or not yet, but I am crossing my fingers!

Saunders!! I passed with saunders only. But a lot of people are recommending Lacharity prioritization, delegation, though I havent used it..
