NCLEX IPHONE APP

Hey all,

I was thinking about purchasing the Saunders NCLEX review app for the iphone. I'm hesitant because I have the book with the cd. Has anyone purchased both? If so, are there a lot of duplicate questions?

I have both. I don't use the CD anymore though b/c I love the app so much. I would guess there are duplicates, though now Saunders has 4 more apps with 1000 questions each, so if you want to lessen the chance for duplicates, maybe get one of the newer question sets.

Look for contact info on the packaging and shoot them an email or give a call to the publisher's 800 number to ask. I wouldn't want to get something that was a complete mirror image of something I had already purchased.

I bought the $9.99 Upward Mobility NCLEX app and it is really good.

Lots of questions, many case like ones, less expensive the Saunders. But I am still thinking it might be useful to have both.

my phone ended up crapping out, so i'm waiting for the new one to come out. all in all, i didn't buy it. i don't think it would be worth it for the itouch. i'm sticking with my cd's for studying. its not as portable but it'll do the job.

Specializes in 3 different countries, many areas.

I use the mosby's review (29.00) on the itouch. It's great! 1150 questions with rationals for all. you can bookmark the ones you get wrong. make your own quiz out of them or just make your own quiz on systems. Highly recommend it. Good luck

Is your ipod jailbroken? or your iphone jailbroken? This is just some information. If it is jailbroken, get Appsync using cydia, you get all the saunders NCLEX question trainers for free...haha, do it at your own risk :), OR, just buy them :) they are really helpful, and has about a thousand questions for each application, with the rationale and strategy for each question. Very good app..but worth the money? Not sure..(meaning just do what i told you to do so you can get it for free) haha

I had both the app and the book.. I believe there were some duplicates but I loved the app SOO much..it is a lot more convenient than lugging that book around and I thought the format was really good. I took Kaplan and i'm 100% that is what made me pass on the first attempt but the Saunders review was helpful while I was in between taking questions for Kaplan..

I actually used Saunders on the train right before I took the NCLEX for some last minute review and one of the questions was very similar to one on the NCLEX..Woo!

Is this available on the android phones also. Would love this 24/7 access badly need to master this exam.

I am sure it's offered through andriod. I have the NCLEX-RN Quiz Card System. it was $4.99. 3864-Questions with rationales and book marks. Breaks it down by nclex categories. Best $5 I have spent so far. I can review while getting a hair cut, stuck in traffic, workout at the gym.
