Hi

I was wondering how much everyone was making as a cna. in the state of illinois(bloomington/normal area) i make $10.50 an hour(2nd & 3rd shift /$10 for 1st shift) and can increase yearly. how much are you making in your area along with the starting pay?

$8.50hr and 10cents for 2nd shift. I live in south FL.

Specializes in LTC, Hospice.

I am in northern Illinois and make 10.04. This is after working there for 5 years.

In NW GA, $9.12 an hour first shift, plus $2.00 an hour on Sat and Sun for baylor. (12 hour shifts)

I was making 11.70 at the last facility I worked at, a dementia unit in a retirement community.

I recently moved, though, and I'm now working at a home for severely developmentally disabled children, and I'm back to making less than $9. (I prefer the work, though...it's almost worth the pay cut. Also, we don't have call lights :D :D)

The LTC facility I just got hired at starts at $10.00 for 1st shift and 10.30 for 2nd. This is in WI

Specializes in 6 yrs LTC, 1 yr MedSurg, Wound Care.

They start us out at 8.25. From what I understand, if we drive to the nearest city they pay closer to $9.50.

$19.34/hr for days, $21.43/hr for night shift at a hospital in Long Island NY

Specializes in LTC.

7.55/hr. no shift differential. been there going on 2 years.

23.50 per hour at the hospital been there 3 months... Long term health facility 15.00 per hour

$12/hr day shift at hospital; $1.25 weekend diff

Massachusetts

11.50, I think there's some sort of shift differential. This is really dirt pay for CNA's in my area though, most make around $14-20 an hour.
