I am comming from the Doral area and I think traffic will be bad but I never travel to that part of town in rush hour, so if anyone has an Idea of the amount of time it will take me to get there considering traffic let me know.

I was thinking leaving around 7 am (what do you guys think).

I read that the Medical campus students on the thread did not get to meet each other due to traffic delays.

I think you'll be more than fine leaving at 7. Traffic gets REALLY bad around 8, but hitting the road by 7 should put you there with plenty of time to spare since orientation doesn't start until 9. I'll probably be leaving at 7 also, and I live farther than you do.

Hey Guys,

Anyone here did the background check at MDC mobile spot the week of Nov 7-11? I did mine on thursday, the 10th, and I haven't received an email or any confirmation from school that they received it. I'm getting concerned since it's getting close to the 5th of Dec, the day of the deadline for the requirements and the background check is all I'm missing. How long did it take for everyone else?

Btw, I just got a call from Baptist, interview is tomorrow at 3! Been preparing all day, I can't wait. :)

My background check came in pretty quickly, about a week. I've been told that the more addresses and jobs you've had, and the more cities you've lived in, the longer it takes; not sure if this applies to you. Also, the closer to the deadline, I would imagine the busier they are.

Either way, I would call them up and see if you can find out what's going on.

Hey fellow homestead students! I would love to meet up with you guys early. I plan on leaving my house around 7, so I should be there around 8-830! So excited, cant wait! Neyla, are you going to med campus or homestead? Because I live in the doral area (Fontaine bleau) and if I leave at 7 it will take me anything between 20-40 min to get to med campus. It depends not so much on 836 traffic but on whether or not th bridge is up and how traffic is in the health district. Good luck to you all tomorrow :)

Great to meet all of you yesterday! Aselva we missed you, I hope you made it there OK. As for the rest of you, lots of work ahead of us but I'm looking forward to the journey with you all!
