how long is your commute?

Just wondering how long everyone's commute to work is.

20 min./17 miles.( up to 40 minutes if it's snowing heavily)

I refuse to do more than 30 minutes one way.....I don't get paid for the hours of my life spent in the car.

Approximately 4.5 miles/7 minutes to drive, another 5-10 min for the shuttle. Not bad.

12 minutes by bicycle:nurse:

Awesome!!!

22 Days till final finals.

I beat you ALL!!! Took me over 2 1/2 hours to get to work the other day. People in California can't drive in the rain... It usually takes 1-2 hours.

The last place I worked about 30 seconds driving, or 5 minutes walking. It is 1/4 mile from my house. Before working there, I drove 80 miles each way, about 1 hour and 20 minutes each way. The next place I work (haven't applied anywhere yet, still enjoying my baby too much to work!) will have to be in the city, about a 30 mile, 35 minute drive.

My commute was 10 miles. But my carpool started 10 miles farther out (they drove, I bought gas!)

90 miles round trip/50 min-1 hr (depending on parking/traffic)

90 miles one way. Gas bill each month $400.00

I travel 3-5 miles depending on the home I work at; usually takes 5-10 mins.

Job # 1 (teaching position): 32 miles one way

Job # 2 (staff nurse at local hospital): 1/2 mile :)

35 min one way. That is if there are no traffic issues.

My current clinical site is about 35 minutes from my house, but I'm applying at a hospital right now that is less than 1/2 mile from my house. I can walk there in less than 15 minutes, and they start new grads at a higher pay rate than the hospitals that are further away from me. Wish me luck! :D
