Is it just me or...

Are the nursing student assignments becoming more ridiculous and over the top, possibly borderline asinine? I just read this post under student forum and I couldn't fathom that a nursing instructor could possibly expect students to put something like this together.

Maybe it's just me.

Gee whiz.

As if nursing school wasn't stressful enough.

What does this assignment have to do with learning to be a smart, efficient and safe nurse?

I agree.

I think it's over the top.

The particular example you give is, indeed, asinine.

Over the top. I'm glad we never had to an assignment like this.

Not sure how this really relates to a nursing education since world health policy is a little out of our scope at least as novice nurses.

Most ridiculous thing I've seen in a while. Most days in nursing school were ridiculous, but this takes the cake.

Very cool assignment in concept, imho.

I'd be all over that.

My problem would be with the narrow window of time-frame and subject matter (limited to children/maternal health).
