That is not how the exam is graded. All get 50% correct and 50% incorrect. It is the level that you are getting the majority of the correct ones at.

No numerical result.

Only pass or no pass.

Would also help if you didn't post in text,We have many foreign trained nurses with English not as their first language and it is good practice for them to read and understand things, good practice for writing documentation as only hospital acepted abreviations can be used and also not everyone understands text.

The NCLEX will automatically shut off when you've answered enough questions correctly (or incorrectly). You may pass at 75 questions or 435, it depends.

I thought the min. was 75 and max was 265?

There are 75 min. questions and a maximum of 265. You have 6 hours to test with 2 mandatory breaks. At our Hurst Review they told us that if you take all 6 hours and run out of time, they only grade the last 60 questions. If you finish before 6 hours then you are graded based upon more right than wrong answers overall. The test booklet for NCLEX states that the computer will shut off when a decision has been made within 95% accuracy. Then it is graded by a person. That is why the "unofficial" grades are posted. Your State will receive your official grade as will you in the mail. Hope this helps. If you need more answers visit: www.ncsbn.org and follow instructions for NCLEX candidates. Also www.pearsonvue.com is also helpful.

Good Luck, I take boards on the 12th of June...:typing

Yeah...that's okay. I just read it in the manual, so I thought I'd help out.:D

So how many do you have to get right if it shuts down at 75 questions and you pass? Does that mean you got them all right?
