If you weren't a nurse, what would you have become?

For some reason I was thinking about Spinal Tap, at the end, when the guy says he would sell hats if he wasn't a musician.

So if you weren't a nurse, what would you have become?

If I was being serious, probably a social worker, because when I went back to school, I was debating between social work and nursing.

If I was being whimsical, I'd be an astronaut. Even though I think I'm too tall, and know I'm too out of shape and don't have the science and engineering brain for it. But it's a fun thought!

If I hadn't suddenly decided to join military long ago, I would've become a computer animator. Sometimes I still dream of working in Pixar...

If I hadn't later decided to go back to nursing, I would've been working in a biochem lab...

But, I don't think I would've been very happy with either scenario as I am now. :)

Maybe I would be a child life specialist. I love hospitals and I love children so if I couldn't be a nurse I guess that's the closest to it.

Or I would be a children's librarian? Or maybe a child psychologist? or a children's author?

Or I would love to get paid a lot of money to just blog about whatever I want. I was originally going to become an attorney but I DEFINITELY do not want to do that now.

Sniper for the U.S government.

I'd work at a No-kill shelter. Saving four-legged friends (and probably taking them all home with me).

I would LOVE to move to Mexico with my inlaws and just be there :) wouldnt really care what i was doing... thats my dream

Author and illustrator of children's books! My imagination is pretty wild :) Instead I’m working in Pediatrics. No complaints :)

Someday I hope to be a midwife with my own birth center. A girl can dream right?

Hmmmm...... *sigh*. I always wanted to be a veterinarian (so cliche... I know).... received my first degree as a BS Animal Science from UCONN (GO HUSKIES!!). Going to vet school turned out to be a pipe dream.... somehow the student loans for an out-of-state veterinary degree were very daunting.

Somedays, I daydream about the "ease" of owning a bookstore/cafe, where eclectic crafters and young raw talent can come and enjoy themselves. I say "ease", in that, no lives are in my hands..... just a cup of coffee and a good book. ;) I worked in a bookstore as I was going through high school, and college...... it was one of my favorite jobs.... talking to all the interesting people who love chatting up their latest read.

Realistically-I think I would have made a good teacher. I taught 5th graders at after-school CCD classes and loved it

Whimsically-I'd love to be a world-traveller (preferably on a yacht!) and write about my adventures! I might still make that dream happen when I retire!

Elementary school teacher and/or a children' s author.. Still might do those someday. :D

I change my mind constantly but : flight attendent, police officer, Media star, financial advisor, pop star, professional ballerina, restaurant manager, retail store manager, waitress.Reality tv star ! (most of these are whimsical and not realistic in the slightest)
