... I can tell all the people that say "you have been in school so long, when are you going to finish"; you try juggling a fulltime job, a full time class load at least one semester out of the year, a house, mortgage, 4 kids + 1 bonus one if you count hubby and tell me how you feel :banghead:

... I can finally say all this hard work has paid off

... I can have a career and not just a job

... Feel like I am truly giving back to others other than my children

... Start on an RN-MSN program right after I graduate so that I can keep going until all my dreams have been fulfilled

... Get that sweet little letter in my hands for acceptance or denial~here's to hoping it starts with "Congratulations"~

... I can call my aunt and sister on 3- Way and scream in their ears "I am in"

... Get some of that good "congratulations" nooky from hubby :chuckle Cheers! :lol2:

Just thought of another one...

I can't wait until I can change my AN username from "PreRN Katie" to "RN Katie"!

...I step foot on campus in March as a nursing student..

I can't wait until.....

Long term: I save a life! I just had CPR training last night and While I hope that I would never have to use it, I know that it will happen someday - especially when I'm an RN!

... Or deliver a baby for the first time.

Shorter term: I can't wait to turn in my app and get the congrats letter :D

And even shorter term: I can't wait for class tomorrow. Its just one step closer to getting there.

...I can give all my business clothes to the local women's shelter

...I can email all my clients/contacts letting them know I won't be available anymore

...I can get rid of all my business-related paraphenalia and fill that space with nursing books instead!

...I can say "I'm a nursing student", not "I'm taking pre-reqs to get into nursing school"...such a mouthful!

...I can leave work each day knowing I mattered to someone

... I'm done my pre-reqs and can call myself a nursing student.

... I graduate and can say I have a degree.

... I get a nursing job to pay of my loans I haven't gotten...yet.

I get accepted into a RN program!

I get accepted into a RN program!
