I can't wait until...

... now fill in the blank.

.... I can wear scrubs and comfy shoes to work instead of panty hose and heels. UGH!

I can't wait until...

I can say "I'm a nursing student" instead of "pre-nursing" student

(Yes, I am so sick of pre-reqs - I want to get into some real stuff! :banghead:)

Great thread idea stacygirl:yeah:

I cant wait until I can sign things with "myname R.N." I also cant wait until I can finally rub all my hard work into my bf's family's face for all those times they told me "its pathetic that she doesnt work... all she does is go to school and sit at home...while our son works and pays the bills". I can be like, remember when you used to make fun of me? Well I am an RN now and am more successful than both of your daughters combined. Ah that'll be the day! I am also ready for wearing scrubs and no long trying to decide what outfit to wear to work. It'll be hmmmm blue scrubs today or pink. :p

... I can call myself a nursing student (I hate the pre-nursing student thing too...)

... until I can work my first nursing job and not have to worry about paying for nursing school.

I second the scrubs and comfy shoes!

Also, I can't wait until I'm working a job that doesn't bore me to death.

until the election is over and the economy is back to where it used to be. and i can start getting student loans without the hustle and bustle from the banks.

but really i cant wait to accepted in the Nursing program, wear foot loose scrubs and hang my stethscope from the rear view mirror.

I'm in NS(Nov 3 cannot get here fast enough),

I have graduated and is finally working as a nurse.

I'm there with ya! Can't wait to quit my office job, until I can wear scrubs and comfy shoes as opposed to dressing up with heels...and until I can call myself a nursing student. And after that, I can't wait to call myself a NURSE! :D

Good luck to everyone!

Just curious, Stacygirl, where in Texas are you at? I'm in San Antonio.

I can get out of school so I can start having babies! Got to get in first though...I should find out this week!

i can't wait until i receive my acceptance letter so i will only have to work 2 days a week or maybe none at all. and i can actually start saying that i am in nursing school. and i can't wait until i start my new job because i will be into being cordial at work but not making friends, because females always find a way to wanna be your friend but then stop talking to you for no reason, who needs that

:dncgbby:

Oh yes.. the babies thing. I also cannot wait until I'm out of school so I can start my family!

I can't wait to start NS because then I'll have yet another handy excuse for NOT having babies :-)

I can't wait until clinicals start

I can't wait to be done and actually be a nurse and not a nurse student (I love school though!)
