yes i am enrolled in an ADN program, in that there is a college pretty close to my house that is very well known for it's successful nursing program, i actually think it's rated 3rd in the state. it's hard, bc i'm tryin to do everything in 2 years, while most take 3. it's a full course load, i've got 18 1/2 credit hours this semester. I am going to transfer to get my BSN, i'm currently lookin for a 2+2 program with some perks to it. Hi there! I'm 21 and in my 3rd year of the BScN program, and I'd say that the avg age of my class is 23-24. Not one guy though in 70 classmates!

I am 30 and will be starting the ADN program in Jan(hopefully) I'm a little scared, but can't wait!

I will be 24 when i graduate and I feel old most of the nurses I work with are 23 or younger. I just dont understand where the time went i started school when I was 19 is it supposed to take this long?

Im from Australia, nursing here is a 3 year course and im just starting at 20, so i should b 23 when i finish. Most of the people in my course have just left school but there are a few older ones.

Hi. I'm 23 and in my third semester of a two year diploma program. I was almost 22 when I started and will be two months shy of 24 when I graduate in December. I was going to college for a BS in biology for 3 1/2 years before I finally adimitted to myself that it wasn't for me. So here I am. The ages of the students in my class ranges from about 19 to early 40's. I'm glad I didn't go to nursing school right out of high school because I learned valuable study skills with my previous college experience. I's have to say that those of us who didn't start right out of high school seem to do better on average than those who did. However, it is still frustrating that I won't be done with school until I'm almost 24 when most people my age are out making money by this time. I'm tired of depending on my parents for money! I'm ready to make my own. Good luck! I'm sure you will do fine and I'm sure you won't be the oldest person in your class.

I guess that we would all agree that there is no longer such a thing as "traditional student". Most in my LifeSpan class are late 20s....I think that the oldest is 45 and the youngest 18.....Most of us are divorced/single moms with kids.....We have 3 men in our class too.....Luck to all

I'M THE BABY OF MY CLASS. I JUST TURNED 21 AND GRADUATE IN 5 WEEKS WITH MY BSN. I AM SO EXCITED, I HAVE WORKED SO HARD TO GET HERE!!

I am 22 and working on my aasn through regents(yea will be done in four months)while taking gen. eds for my bsn.

The oldest in my graduating class was 62, the youngest 20-something. I entered my ADN program when I was 41 and have been nursing for 19 years.
