How old are you?

hey, I'm 45 and it makes me feel good that someone was 63 in nursing school. I'm trying to continue my pre-req and get into school the biggest obstacle being money since this is a second degree and jobs where I live are scarce. They need nurses here but most people have no money for school. My daughter is off to college in fall she can get scholarships and aid but not me. Tuition is way up because of budget deficit in my state as a result of 9-11. Any hints from people out there on how to get my daughter to go into nursing? I told her in 2 years she could make 30000 a year and still continue school but she has no interest in nursing. When i graduated high school nurses made next to nothing in wages so I wasn't interested then. There are so many various jobs and educational opportunies in nursing!

Hi, I will be 26 in September - I have spent the past 2 years obtaining pre-req's for the ADN program. I hope to start in the upcoming Fall.

I will be 30-years-old and hoping to be accepted into the RN program at the community college for fall '02. I already have an associate's of applied science in surgical technology which I recievied in '97 at the age of 25-years. I plan, as well, to pursue my BSN sometime after finishing RN.
