Did you get accepted to nursing school?

As of now I have one C on my transcript in College Algebra. I'm applying to nursing school in January with that one C. Hopefully it doesn't ruin my chances. My grades are pretty good in everything else.

It's more about your overall GPA than the specific grades, unless it's one of your prereqs. Even then, a C (or a few) is not the end of the world, depending on the program to which you're applying.
That said, try to get the best grades you can, because you'll certainly increase your chances of getting into a program that way!

One C
It was in College Algebra. I hate math so much. I was accepted into nursing school the first time I applied, which was last September. I start January.

College was nursing school for me. I think over the course of 4 years, I had maybe 2 or 3 C+'s but I think my final GPA was a 3.5. I stopped caring about grades by second semester of college.

I have been accepted to nursing school and will start this January 13th. I never got a C on any of my prereqs.
But I'm sure a C here and there shouldn't ruin your chances unless the nursing school you're applying to is pretty competitive.
Good luck

Before I got into nursing school, I had mostly A's and a couple B's. My first semester I got my first C in Fundamentals, but there after the adjustment of school, and once I became accustomed and knew what to expect on exams, I started making A's a B's again.

One C in A & P 2. I didn't get in to the one school I applied to initially, but they called me for a slot that opened in the spring.

For pre-reqs I got all As and one B, but for my actual undergraduate degree (I'm doing the accelerated BSN), I got multiple Cs (maybe 4 or 5)-- I graduated with a 3.617 so it must not have been many.
The only Cs you should be concerned with are Cs on pre-req courses. I would look to see what grade is needed for each pre-req: at the school I was accepted into, you needed a C or better, but for the school I am waiting to hear back from, you need a B minimum in anatomy, physiology, and microbiology.
Hope this helps! :)

I had all A and B except a 2nd semester inorganic chem which was a D+. Thank goodness I didn't need it for Nursing LOL. This was for a BS in Bio. Had 4.0 in grad school. Everything that I used to transfer into nursing school was an A or B.
