How is the BSN entry level program at Nova Southeastern University?

I just checked my financial aid status and suprisingly, I'm an In-State student now!!! Wow lol Well I guess that saves me the drive up to Nova tomorrow. My loans, grants, and Fl Bright Futures are also up. It's about time lol I just want to be done freaking out about everything and start school already!

Also, 3 of my books came into today

By the way kpham, are u ordering the correct editions? because me and Zdream are a little hesitant due to the fact that the ones we saw in the bookstore were different than the ones they are asking for??? I know they're different kinds of anatomy books for instance? I called and they said to wait until orientation, however, i like to have everything in order. So i am wondering if you have the right books? I have pics of some that others have purchased and a friend of mine purchased the wrong book? even though it was the same author? Just wanted to know so that way i can start ordering... i was going to wait until orientation but dont want to be stuck with the wrong books.

By the way, anyone who is going to the kendall campus dont look at the kendall class site schedule on the orientation page. its wrong!!! I verified it with the coordinator and the one that is emailed to you through your sharklink is the correct one..... just in case, i dont want those going to kendall think thats the schedule, she didnt even know why it was placed on the site in the first place even the professors are wrong except for the anatomy... only one professor teaches that... just an FYI if you didnt already know! looking out for my future nursing friends lol hahaha :monkeydance::bdyhdclp:

Ahh really? Well I looked up the ISBN numbers that were on the list of books and before I bought them I went to the bookstore to see the books and they were the exact same ones I found on amazon. I only bought 3 (Publication Manual, Dimensional Analysis for Meds, and Human Physiology) and is going to buy the rest at the bookstore on orientation day. Hopefully they're the correct editions, if not I guess I'll just have to buy all of them at the bookstore. But i really want to save as much money as I can lol

I just noticed that it says I am out of state... What are all you doing about that? I need advice!

@Nicole- I've been calling the person in charge of florida residency 954-262-1126 and also emailed her [email protected] and emailed the financial aid office [email protected]

Needless to say, I didn't get through to anyone. I just kept checking my financial aid status every now and then...I was going to go up to Nova tomorrow but I checked earlier today and it had changed to In-State.

does anyone have florida bright futures? I recently updated my information so that my scholarship can transfer over to nova but as of now its not listed in my financial aid awards status...my FINAID is the only thing I'm waiting on at this point..that and my in state tuition to be fixed..

Does any one know of any free training class for nursing assistant

Hey guys, I start now this fall at the main campus, but I will be taking a couple classes at kendall too. I was ordering my lab coat online, and I put entry level nursing main campus under department. I'm in the Baptist scholar's program, but was that the right patch option? I didn't see any other one besides southwest, and the lady told me that one is the ft.myers campus. Did you guys do the same??

By the way, any of you know what font the scrubs and lab coat are, I'm trying to look for somewhere cheaper, if possible lol... Although I ordered a couple today from both sites. The lab coat takes about three weeks, so who ever has not done it, you should go for it. :) I still have to buy my books lol...
