hi, can i ask anyone who also apply for CVS? what is the address of CGFNS coz im a bit confuse regarding the address..tnx:confused:

Don't apply for CVS for NY if you don't have intentions to work in NY.

However, if that is really where you want to work then go ahead and apply.

Download the CVS for NY application packet at CGFNS's website. ALL the instructions and ALL you need to know about the CVS is in there.

You can also get an original copy of it for free in CGFN's "satellite" office in Shaw Blvd. The name is Octonorm. Same bldg. as with a Japanese Life Insurance Company w/ a red signage (your landmark). It is just a few meters away from Star Mall Shaw and on the same side of the road. You can get other CGFNS application packets their as well while your at it but you have to take it personally and just 1 copy for yourself.

for cvs-ny, there's a specific p.o. box address. check out the cvs forms and other cvs info from cgfns website.

never ever send to the po box by regular mail. there is no way to track it. take the extra time and send it via courier service. or you may be waiting months and months and find that they never received it in the first place.

Sending it by courier would be best because you can track it and know for sure that it has reached it's destination but if you're gonna send it through courier it has to be the full mailing address and not by the P.O. box (regular mail).

I'm quite sure the full mailing address would be in the application packet.

thats why im so confuse regarding that.. sending to courier they didnt allow po box address they want in full address, what is the full add? and can it be possible send this via registered mail?tnx

in sending to CVS-NY post office address, others succesfully used international EMS thru post office (minimum charge now is less than P800). you can track the delivery thru website of US Postal Service or sometimes thru website of TNT Express (for consignment). 5 to 7 working days delivery. you can request online for an electronic proof of delivery. you can also ask the post office for a phone number you can call to confirm delivery after 5 to 7 working days. if you use EMS, choose the central or big branches of the post office in your region (or the one near the airport)because it is where most mails are finally sorted prior to delivery to the airport.

you can also try calling other couriers such as UPS, DPEX, TNT if they accept mails to a p.o. box address in NY. their numbers are in the phone book.

once you have a delivery confirmation, you might want to post here the mailing service you got so that others would also know what to do when it comes to sending to a p.o box address.

btw, you need to wait for around 2 to 3 weeks before you can see your cvs-ny service order status from the cgfns website (unless you applied online and you're just mailing now the printed forms that you need to sign and to be notarized). It is always advisable to use the paper application than the online. Processing time for cvs usually runs from 6 to 8 months (or 8 to 12 months) for applications from the Philippines.

hi..:) the address I used with my CVS app was:

CGFNS (spelled out)

Attn: CVS( spelled out)

3600 Market Street, Suite 400

Philadelphia, PA 19104-2651 USA

I used fed-ex..CG received my documents 2 days after, accdg to the tracking number and when I logged on to my account in the Cg website, the status of my CVS was "received but not yet reviewed" and all the other details was also there..like the payments etc..hope this will help

If you are doing the process by hand and paper you will not have an order number so can leave it blank
