Hardest class so far...

What has been your hardest class so far? I haven't started my program yet, and was just looking for insight from those of you who have.

Thanks!

r u referring to prereq's? if so i would say micro. especially when it came down to doing the "unknown".

Adult med-surg III for sure. Pharmacology is a close 2nd.

Classes that are pre-req's or within the program. I'm just curious what seems to be the hardest for people.

Pharm for me was the hardest. I had to take it two times...........

Mine is psychology

As far as prereqs, I would say Micro. I heard that pharmacology is the worst in the program. I'll find out next semester.

Prerequisites: micro and chemistry

In the program: Anything taught by a nurse practitioner. Especially if they are also your clinical instructor.

Pre-reqs: intro to general organic & biochemistry I & II. ugh.

in the program: I'm only a first year but so far Foundations of Nursing has been pretty difficult, mainly the exams. My Health Assessment class is pretty difficult to, but that's mainly our skills test-outs lol

so far Anatomy 2 and Pharmacology!!

next semester i've got Health Assessment and i've been told its a very tough and demanding course.

Good luck!

So far, Psych has been the hardest.

My most difficult prerequisite was Micro. In the program, so far, Pharmacology has been tough.

In nursing school, definitely Med/Surg. We have 24 weeks of it and it goes in depth into all the systems and diseases. You have to know signs/symptoms, labs, patho and interventions. The questions are all situations and you have to put all the information together, use your critical thinking and pick the 'best' answer. Cardiac was tough with all the meds.
