Gratitude

Our district is doing the "Days of Thanksgiving" and we're requested to share gratitude about certain things each day. Tomorrow is gratitude to co-workers. I am grateful to you all, especially @OyWithThePoodles, @OldDude , @JenTheSchoolRN, @NutmeggeRN and so many more of you. @Davey Do your cartoons are life for me.

Eight more school sleeps until Thanksgiving. Take care, y'all. Now is the time when my sugar coat is perilously thin and a former admin used to remind us all, lovingly, to afford ourselves extra grace at this time, and extend grace when possible, so we'd never end up sitting in the Superindentant's office explaining our choices!

"Breaking the Cycle"

Hope * Resilience * Gratitude

Christine Beckwith and Dr Wendy Wright and available on Amazon. Discusses two very successful ladies who overcame alot!! Wendy is a leading APRN and if you ever get to hear her speak, you will agree!!! She owns 2 APRN run practices and an educational company.

So many of us and our kids have overcome the seeminbgly impossible, their reflection is a fantastic read.

I highy recommend it!

You have no Idea how much I needed to hear this.....Its been a long couple of weeks with no relief as we enter the holidays. I actually sat on the floor in my bed room had my 5 minute cry and told myself get up you gotta go. Thats all I had time for!! Thank you for this.

AWWWW!! Hang in there, Penny. We have seven more school sleeps until break. And then three more weeks until another one.

I am so thankful for this board!! It is so nice to be able to bounce things off of one another or just encourage each other. Being a school nurse can feel like you are on a deserted island at times.

Oh gosh, it has been an uphill climb the past couple of weeks at work and I come back to this board and see this! @ruby_jane thank you and right back at you!!
