Good News!

I'm so proud I'm about to explode! I just finished my very first semester of college....and I got straight As!!!! 4.0! I know it's only a small step towards becoming a nurse, but it's the first one! I graduated high school over 10 years ago, so starting college was a scary thought. I'm so proud I did it! And my children and husband make a wonderful cheerleading section!

From what I've read on this site, I need to keep that 4.0 to better my chances of getting into a good nursing school! I'll try my hardest!

Just had to share my joy!

CONGRATS and welcome to the boards :)

WTG! Congrats! Keep up the good work.

Any words of wisdom for those reentering school?

Congrats, Miranda!!

It is an awesome feeling!! I just finished my second semester with a 4.0 I also graduated high school 12 years ago and was unsure if I could do it.

I could not have done it without an understanding husband and supportive family and friends. Plus one Awesome babysitter!! :saint: Make sure to thank all your supporters. I'm baking everyone cookies now that the semester is over.

Cheers to you and keep up the great work!:yelclap:

I just finished this semester with a 4.0 as well. I took Nutrition, Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology I Lab. I work full time during the day so I am extra proud. Last semester I only took the Anatomy & Physiology I lecture to see how it was going to go with with working full time and I got an A. So two semesters in a row! Hopefully I can keep it up as this summer I am taking Anatomy & Physiology II lab & lecture!

Congrats to everyone who did so well!

Congrats to BeesAngel and Miranda for doing so well! Good job, those are some tough classes BeesAngel... :balloons:

CONGRATS! kEEP UP THE HARD WORK

Congrats...it's a great feeling to know you can do so well, isn't it!?!?!??!?!?

I took A&P I by itself at first, and with setting the curves with all A's test grades I decided to add a Dev. Psych telecourse with it. I really only planned on making a B in the Psych class because I knew I had to maintain my A in A&P.

I actually managed to make an A in both classes! It really is a great feeling! (I graduated high school in 1991....14 years ago. I have been in and out off college, but didn't do so well my first semester right out of high school. ... A - B - B - D -D) :uhoh3: Determination, and maturity goes a long way!!!!! (although some may beg to differ about the maturity part! :rotfl: )
