I ask this every once in a while. Does anyone know any comapnies or organizations that offer free-bies?

P&G offers the free puberty stuff, which I get from them every year for health class. The kids seem to like it.
I'd be interested to hear about other freebies.

I know Kotex will send a box of free pads or tampons if you have a middle or high school.
I guess this counts, but the CDC has a lot of publications like posters and pamphlets that you can order for free. Even the Pink Book (Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases) online is free but $35 if your order the actual book. I even got a really awesome Immunization CD free in the mail with schedules, flyers, and a bunch or other resources. If parents have questions about a particular vaccine I will print it out for them and it's great to send home to remind parents to vaccinate for middle/high school.

Our local Lion's Club is fantastic in assisting with vision exams and glasses for students. No application, I just call and give the student's name. So far this year I think they have funded about 10 kids.

I get free EpiPens with http://www.epipen4schools.com/
I also use Sight for Students to help with free eye exams and glasses from the NASN site. https://www.nasn.org/MemberCenter/VisionServicePlanVSPSightforStudents
I get free EpiPens with EpiPen® (epinephrine) and EpiPen Jr® (epinephrine) Auto-InjectorsCackalacky.... do you remember how long it took for them to respond to you, and send the epipens? I sent them an email last week, and haven't received an email back. Just curious.

I would love to get EpiPens for my School, but we do not have a physician to work with for standing orders.
This one is for students, but EpiPen has a no-copay program right now. They will pay up to $100 for a co-pay of a 2-pack Epi-pen and up to 3 EpiPen 2 packs for one prescription fill. The coupon is good until December 31st of this year. It won't cover students on Medicare or Medi-Cal but student's with no insurance qualify.

It was actually another nurse in the district that handled the ordering so that we could make one bulk order for the district. She asked for what dose of EpiPen we needed in October and I received them in November. Maybe try giving them a call next week to try to confirm your order.
Would your local health department be willing to help you with the standing order kenderella89?

Just a thought but when I was in nursing school we would go to the local schools and do vision screening once a year as part of our service learning. Might be worth it calling the colleges and seeing if they would be willing to help.

Wowbutter.com offers free samples. It is a soynut, peanut butter alternative. Check out their site, it is very informative.
I would be careful about doing this because it depends on your State regulations. In my State, California, Nursing Students should not be doing vision testing for School Nurses. You must fall in to one of 3 categories to do vision testing and even if a Certified School Employed helps with the vision testing the Credentialed School Nurse will still have to re-test failed students before they are referred.
