Font size help?

Apologies in advance for posting this question in this forum, but I wasn't allowed to post in the "Getting Started" one. Can anybody tell me how to increase the font size of my posts? Mine always seem to end up with a smaller font than others on the same page. When I'm typing in the posting box, the text size default is at 3. Using the drop-down menu I tried to change it to 5 or 7, but it just doesn't "take." Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? It's not a huge deal, but I hate to think I'm making some people strain their eyes with a teeny tiny font compared to all the surrounding messages.

Thanks for any ideas.

I don't know what you are seeing but your font appears huge to me. No eye straining here. Maybe its your computer?

this is how i do it.. i highlight my message it then click on the font size drag down to the size you want...

your font size in your post is much bigger than the default font. maybe it doesnt show up until you actually post? i know it works that way with italics and bold font.

IT looks pretty big to me!! :lol2: Just kidding!!! Most of the time,I find I have to click on "quote Message" and then get the whole kit-n-kaboodle to choose from, my default size is like-2-so I have a hard time typing and reading that size, so I prefer a '3', (gettin' old)

If you just use 'quick reply' to post, you don't get to actually use any of the functions, fonts, bold, italics, colors etc., they are there, but nothing happens when you click on them.--At least that is true for me, on my laptop-:Crash:

Wow! That is so strange. I could understand it being my computer, different resolutions, etc., but even in this thread, my original post looks a bit smaller to me than the following one. When I posted that one, I tried changing the font size from 3 to 5 again, but it just reverted back to 3 before I submitted it, so I figured there was still a problem. This time I'll leave it at the default.

This seems to happen whether I am posting an original message or hitting "Post Reply" at the top or bottom of a thread.

It's a mystery, but if I'm the only one who sees it as small, it doesn't matter. Thanks, everyone. Happy New Year! :balloons:

I know this is an older post, but I stumbled across one of your other posts still having this issue. Is the font at all websites you visit really small? Or just here at AllNurses?
